I could say so much here as a 51 year old who has taught criminals in the making. This story is heart wrenching. At the same time not surprising. Everything is exactly as you put it Nicole. Haunting. The fact that the youngest victim took his life doesn't surprise me. I have talked many troubled teens young adults and recently a person in their 40s not to take their life due to rape. Once again Nicole I take my hat off to you. To the family my deepest sympathy empathy and compassion. Blessings always ❤

I feel so much for that young man, of course his sister as well. In 1998 I had a girlfriend who lived on a plot in a place called valley settlements, just outside Henley on klip on the way to Vereeniging. We were both teens and home alone one evening when we heard the dogs suddenly going crazy at the corner of the property and then the front door being tampered with. Her mother showed me where the 38 special was so of course we grabbed it but as luck would have it, suddenly went all quiet but I'll never forget that night as long as I live, that fear was unreal. Could have ended up like this poor family
