    • I dunno if Nickelodeon has animation and live action in separate studios or not. But, it would've been super wild if Stephen Hillenberg caught wind of what was going on, and put that in, in hopes of it being a warning without being too loud for executives to be suspicious. Apparently there are rumors, that Stephen and Dan had some issues between them. But, unfortunately we may never know, and can only be a stretch at this point. Unless maybe Tom Kenny or someone close to Stephen, knows if Stephen has mentioned Dan's name or complained about him or what. But, I doubt, anything would be said if so.

  • My prayers go out to Drake Bell. Hearing him talking about these horrible things was never going to be easy. However, I hope what Drake did with his bravery can help other actors speak up about any personal misconduct. Drake Bell really did prove to me that when it comes to being a TV star, there is a sense of darkness, that even the bright lights of Hollywood can never hide.

My high school refused to make accommodations for me to take acting classes. My heart was so corrupted by my own greed and envy It never occurred to me that the people who made me laugh in my favorite TV shows were hiding their pain in their eyes, and the sadness behind their smiles. I want to recover from my trauma. My ex-girlfriend's mom blocked me from being in the same classes at school as her daughter for five years because dating rumors were getting out of control. I can't really watch Zoey101 knowing how the entire cast (with the exception of Sean Flynn who played Chase) bullied her, yet Jamie's character Zoey was portrayed as the "saint" to the point of a Mary Sue. It also feels uncomfortable in that her character was portrayed as boy crazy given Dan's views on women. And while I DO find some of the humor on Victorious funny, I also find how sexualized and suggestive the show was with its adult humor, with it being entirely explicit. And while I hate saying this, I can't really look at Drake & Josh anymore given how Josh Peck turned out and knowing of Drake's abuse by the network. It really is disgusting knowing that the ONLY reason Nick fired Dan Schneider, wasn't because of his creepy and abusive behavior, but because his shows post Victorious weren't making THEM money or getting the views. Once I was wandering around back stage and I saw her in a very dark room crying alone. I never forgot that. I felt like I didn't understand some thing dark about her life. This was right after filming where she looked happy etc on the set. Also another time I was a T Building with Drake and a few other kids and we were just chillen by ourselves and one of the kids cracked a joke about Amanda having an abortion. It wasn't a dig at her it was like a dark overtone sarcastic crack. I was like "Wait what does that mean?" and they all collectively kind of moved in rapidly to shut me out of that conv. I remember it because I felt like an outsider somehow but ya know Drake and I hung out every day. So I felt a little weird. Most of the stuff I saw was alright and everyone was chill on set and everything. • It feels so sad to hear what these celebrities has gon through. I was so obssessed with Nickelodeon shows as a kid (Drake and Josh, iCarly, Victorious, etc.) Wishing them to heal, love, and peace

  • With all the allegations against him, why isn’t there a trial? Why isn’t he in jail? It’s crazy that he is still walking around free. ~ My heart goes out to the people he hurt. They were kids and should have been protected. I hope they are living happy and healthy lives now.

  • We were gaslight into believing something was wrong about nickelodeon stars like Amanda Bynes vs the problem being the top execs. I remember growing up when these shows air since the 90s and seeing people talk crapped about the teen stars. It's truly awful. I mostly watch the game shows Nickelodeon aired and not all the sitcoms.

    • Throughout the docuseries, I thought to myself, "Amanda & Alexa tried warning you guys!" People were so gun-ho to ostracize them, thus resulting in Amanda's conservatorship And what's sad is, they're not the only ones. As soon as a child star turns 18, it becomes a vicious cycle where they walk out with lifelong psychological issues, and people are quick to demonize them. It's more of a cry for help because they were failed by the adults who were supposed to protect them

    • Same. Even from a non-Nick standpoint, everyone was watching PBS Kids because of Carmen Sandiego.

  • Frustrating because you felt stuck in a character that’s not like yourself ? Isn’t that what acting is?

  • I remember saying i was disturbed years ago, the looks in these kids eyes were obviously broken. The damage is not going to be easy to heal but if the monsters would be punished then the people could get better.

  • I don't have anything against Nickelodeon as a channel. I still like their shows (their good ones, of course), and some of their movies. And i don't intend to quit from Paramount+. However, that being said, what i despise about Nickelodeon are some of the people who run it. I feel sorry for all of the actors and actresses who had a bad time working there. And if i was Nickelodeon's CEO, i would make sure that Schneider would never again work in the industry. The same for that Brian Peck guy. They would be in jail. Both of them. I just hope this people will be not necessarily arrested but at least banned from working in Nickelodeon, and the channel will have better people on it, and better working conditions for the actors.

    • @@emiliomanueldepedro9650 Not a fan of Bieber, but thanks for the support. I grew up with Nickelodeon and some people in there like the child actors, Tom Kenny, and animators like Hillenburg, Vasquez, DNA Productions, Rob Rezetti (sorry if I misspelled), Klasky Csupo, Craig Barlett, the Avatar creators, Frederator, Chris Savino (he at least took accountability, had a new start and grew up with him), producers NOT involved with live-action shows, those guys are the TRUE Representatives of Nickelodeon.
