Bluey is the MOST wholesome show on television right now, Loyal Theorist. It’s an Australian kids show about a Blue Heeler puppy named Bluey But as with any wholesome show you KNOW there have to be dark theories flying around the internet. And today we're looking at whether the show ACTUALLY takes place in a post apocalyptic world. Woah, that’s dark. But is it true? That’s the REAL pickle we’re figuring out today!

  • Here's my opinions about some the theories: 1. I believe that all the baby dogs go through a transitional "dog" phase, where barking and growling as communication resembles early toddler "babbling". Especially now with the new The Sign episode that shows Socks walking on 2 legs! I think it's just a growing period between infant and toddler 2. The leashes could be also be used for cats, which are not anthropomorphic. In the episode where Bluey and her friends are playing shops, they sell things like leashes and treats for their pet CATS. I don't think there's anything nefarious about it.

  • I'm actually really glad that Bluey is so popular overseas. As an Aussie, it can be so strange to understand most of the American slang or cultural stuff, but then for those in the US to largely have no idea about ours (except for massive inaccuracies, like how nobody here actually drinks Foster's Lager, and they're 'prawns' not 'shrimp' lmao). I feel like Bluey is helping the next gen of americans (and their parents) learn a little bit more about Australia and our slang/culture, like how american and british TV/movies do the same for us.

    @hedera1332@hedera133211 ай бұрын
    • In Canada we use both "shrimp" and "prawn" but they refer to different things. Visually the most obvious difference is that shrimp have only one pair of claw-legs while prawns have three. There are a lot of other differences, though they aren't all true for all species. Shrimp are usually smaller and (at least the kinds we eat) are typically from saltwater. Prawns are usually larger, with much longer legs relative to their body size, and typically come from freshwater. So if you ever come to Canada, you're likely to see both shrimp and prawns on the same restaurant menus! Although if you look in the grocery stores things can get a little confusing, because we sometimes have products imported from the US which label prawns as "jumbo shrimp".....

    • Obviously, MatPat's videos are (usually) entertaining, but they also make him look kinda like an idiot. Imagine somebody tells a lie, then continues adding more & more lies to it. Then MatPat comes along, gullibly believes all of it, & twists science, logic, history, & himself into knots trying (& failing) to prop up a pack of lies, when the most likely explanation is that the lies are all wrong. Again, this isn't intended to mean that MatPat really does believe this stuff (obviously), but it SHOULD teach us to be skeptical of ALL theories that DON'T have ANY evidence at all. The best example is that a LOT of idiots have been moaning nonstop about the "MULTIVERSE" as if there really is one, but think about that. How much evidence is there for it? The truth is that even if there was one, it's impossible to find any evidence for it because 2 or more universes can't interact. (It's part of WHY a universe is CALLED a universe.)

I just started watching it October of last year or something, and it's actually worlds better than what I thought! Not to mention the hidden stuff about the magic of the world. It also fits in with Frozen II's canon, having the same elements of nature thing, the Sundrop being the Sun spirit/whatever, and that being Raps. The Moonstone doesn't have anyone that has it in them, even when Cass had the Moonstone, she was just using it and was not to be considered the Moonstone or Moon spirit herself. We took dogs with certain traits, slowly pairing them off until we had a standard that even now breeders keep firm to in order to ensure every breed of dog stays pure. If they didn't evolve from our dogs in bluey and instead came directly from apes, why are there still breeds? Is bluey told from the innocent perspective of a child in a world full of arranged marriages and eugenics in which dogs are taken based on their intelligence and appesrence and forcefully bred only with those that perfectly match them to continue the breed?

  • I know why MatPat has been watching it so much. It turns out that Bluey not only wants to teach kids life lessons, but it teaches parents parenting lessons. He may even find it useful for raising his son without even knowing. He says that he even starts using "biscuits" the same way as the characters do, which can show that he might be picking something up. Sorry, school is turning my yt comments into opinion writing paragraphs.
