OK so when I seen Nope that was the exact work that entered my mind. Well until you said play with family and friends. Now it has turned into YES!!! I can't what to see my nephews and nieces play this. Also, bro I just jumped on ConVRgence, thanks for letting me know. I can wait to dig into this game. Can't get enough of that style.

I like to pronounce the game convrgence as "con-VR-gence" it makes it sound like a russian accent which is quite fitting XD especially if you roll the R a bit.
SmallLand looks promising.
It's definitely built for multiplayer tho so that not being ported over has put me off
