New Delhi, India ➖ I can't believe it's been four trips back to India! I just arrived here in New Delhi and it is so good to be here again. It feels so nostalgic to be back in this place, where I made some amazing memories during my previous visits. This time I'm staying at Aloft by Mariott Hotel, it's an excellent location for layovers as it's in the modern area known as Aero City. I'm super excited to experience the culture, food and people here in India again!

Good that you states only in Pune. If you come to southern Maharashtra, you'll notice somthing else. Anyways it's same everywhere in the world. Developed areas are almost better. And we treat foreigners a bit more politely than our people. So yeah

Hi Luke, I'm your avid follower from the Philippines . :) Happy to know you're back to India. I'm a solo traveler and been to India several times as well, and Aerocity is my fave place to stay. It's too close to the airport, and has its own metro station, which is very convenient. I also got scammed on my first visit on the way to Agra :( Still, I find India a fascinating place to visit, that I keep on coming back. In fact, I was also there just when the pandemic started and left around February :) I can't wait to go back. Take care and looking forward to more videos from India :)

In a good few years most of Delhi NCR would look like Aerocity and you wouldn't know which country you're in.
India has most riches with very less people. And remaining money is distributed very unevenly among middle class and poor class. India is very rich and developed if you consider GDP and big cities. Villages and smaller town need improvement.

My advice to all foreigners to use cab booking apps for travel. Tuk tuk and rickshaw drivers looted foreigners. In my area in Delhi I gave 10 rs for 1 km

Was given great advice on auto rickshaw prices when I first went to India. A ride up to 5mins =50 rupees. 5-10 mins =100. Anything over 10 mins use Ola or similar. It will be cheaper. Always works. Drivers 90% very happy and no need to negotiate If you look at the official rates my formula is around twice those rates so everyone does okay
In Delhi, local price on auto rickshaw after last price hike in July 2022 is Rupees 30 for first two km and Rupees 11 per km after first two km. There are parking charges only at legitimate parkings, for example at the airport parking arena. This cab dtiver just pulled over informally at the corner of the street taking a break and waiting for new passenger- parking is not collected in such cases and it is technically not viable to employ staff to collect parking fees at every nook of corner of a vast city, nowhere in the world. He just lied through his nose. A local commuter would have slapped the living daylight of him. The actual price was Rupees 30 but he charged Rupees 200. In Mumbai, local rates on auto rickshaw as of now (after last hike in June 2022) is Rupees 23 for first 1.5 km and Rupees 14.2 per km after first 1.5 km. These are rates fixed by the local state governments in India in consultation with auto rickshaw drivers' trade unions of the respective cities. If you make the auto rickshaw drivers wait or take their help in physically carrying your luggage like from or to your doorstep before or after conpleting the ride or if you have just too much luggage that might crank up the fuel expenses, or if the driver is really old, you might agree to pay nominally extra as tip (upto rupees 30-50 more). If they ask for more, poiltely but firmly say and just mention that you will call the police on them if they ask for more than the fixed fare. Mumbai and Delhi are some of the most expensive cities in India and some touristy cities like Agra, Jaipur, Goa, Kochi, Jodhpur, Udaipur and in mountaineous hill stations may also ask for similar prices. In nontouristy places, auto fares can be 10~30% cheaper. Always check the distance and the route on Google map as some drivers might lie about the shortest route being closed for repair etc.

You should visit kashmir. Its very beautiful, dal lake, gulmarg, pahalgam sonmarg are some of the places in kashmir that are really nice for tourists🍁
If you are still there, try immersing yourself in the spiritual vibe of the country. There are loads of places with beautiful energy, try Vrindavan, Varanasi, Dwarka, or the Aurobindo ashram in Madhuban (Himalayas). Also, Madurai and Tiruvannamalai down south.
I think you can spend your whole life exploring India it's never ending and there's so much to see, it truly is incredible.
