    • im not really sure that matters... speaking from a nerd pespective, alt+j means nothing.. musically, this has nothing on people like john frusciante who can sing and or both sing properly.. people dont give cred to bands like "crippled black phoenix", which has a mix of "super" artists... so why praise this band? it can and has been done by other bands already.

  • Only an Alt J intro to an album can be one of your favourite songs. I remember coming home from working at a pub in 2020, it was about 4 in the morning, I decided to put on some Alt J because I hadn’t heard much of them since 2016. I played this video and when I tell you I had an eargasm to Intro that’s an understatement. I felt like it was euphoric. I played it over and over again that night. For the following few months that song was in my ear everywhere I went. This started me on my journey of obsession with Alt J. Can’t wait to see them in Dublin May 23rd.

      @snoozyq9576@snoozyq95763 жыл бұрын
    • Celeste I'm a 30-year player and the answer to that is yes and no kind of, the technique is called hammering on or hammering off there's two ways to do it most folks use the pic the edge of the pic or more commonly the ball of their middle or index finger however the tape roll was something new to me I haven't seen that done before it does change the dynamic of the sound of the hammer on itself if that helps, another thing many people do for slide guitar is use a glass or Steel thymball over a finger but a beer bottle with the label peeled off works just as well LOL
