Backstreet Boys Explain Why It’s Been 6 Years Since Their Last Album

There is no energy greater than when the Backstreet Boys come into the KTU studios. The boys are back alright and they just released their album DNA which of course we are obsessed with.
Before heading to their Album Release Party in our iHeartRadio theatre, the Backstreet Boys stopped by to hang out with Cubby and Carolina. DNA just came out last Friday but there is a huge gap between that and their last album In A World Like This which debuted in 2013. We can't help but ask the boys why there was a 6 year waiting period in between albums.

I sure as hell hope that they're not finished yet! I went to the DNA concert last night in Belgium and it was EPIC. But they were thanking the fans for the past 26 years and it kinda felt like a goodbye 😕 so I really hope my feeling is wrong and they really aren't finished yet and it isn't their last world tour (hope they announce when that happens). Coz I'm not ready to let them go yet, even as a 35 year old!!! 😊

Album is garbage they should have rereleased millennium and added vocals to that album. Try to do higher parts in those songs like in I want it that way. 2:23 don't wanna hear you say try to do a higher note than that make that song even better

DNA is the only BSB Album that I listen the most from BSB than other of their Albums (all the rest of their albums are still great). I’m a 17 Year Old fan for BSB (including Baylee Littrell as a Bonus which suits me) and other electric or pop American Songs from the 80’s and 90’s.

and its sadder to see that no one dares to say that its because of brian voice that they took that long, its obvious, we are not stupid hahaha they just kind of hesitate, they thought his voice will get better, it did but for me not enough, better not let him sing or take him away just like one song they did. the way it was i really thought he would do at least one chorus , nothingggggg, just one verse and background vocal in the end, not sure its him or not but not very good also
well the group needs him. he's one of the main vocals and the best voice of the group. sad to say he hasn't fully recovered yet but at least his condition is better than the last few years. he's just struggling with the low notes but still slays the high notes.
He kills those high notes like a boss. What else do you need? Bsb wont be Bsb without Brian's voice. I hope he makes a full recovery. God bless him

They've been saying they will do a double album since Millennium. It's never going to happen. They care more about the cost of doing that, than actually putting one out. Also, Kevin says "cohesive" like it's a negative. I don't get it.
