  • I can’t get enough of these two skaters. They float around the ice. Absolutely amazing all their routines. So skilled, so much talent. Would have been the icing on the cake if had been a couple.

    • Scott was many good things before this season but he was his coolest here. His confidence and playfulness really showed in this program. Couldn’t agree more about the prowess thing. They were always able to perform choreographic details like that in their programs. Do you remember their 2010 FD - last spin, he’s doing a one footed sit spin while she’s in a near split position - but they are also staring deeply into each others eyes and he’s brushing her hair/face or playing with her earring. It’s a really intimate moment between them while they are doing something really hard. They always made their dances look so easy to perform.

  • Watching them perform a program of this level of difficulty so precisely, with such virtuosity as if it were a lot of fun, it's exhilarating. In slow motion, we become better aware of the incredible technical prowess, they are resplendent, full of mastery and cheerfulness. Oh my god how do they do it?

These two turned my mind around. They proved to the whole world that the best in dances were, is and always will be. I wish victory to the Olympics for Canadians in dance.

  • As of this time I'm watching again this video of VM and I can say that these two goddess of beauty is still the king and queen of the skating world. For me, until now nobody can replace the spot they made in ice skating. If these two romantic pair performed the world seem to stop for a while and focus on them. How I love to reminisce their past performance. Thanks for uploading and preserving this video because even though they are already retired we can still see them perform as if it is live. Congats to both of you as well as to the uploader of this video. Thanks again.

    • yeah but repeating the same FD for 3 years, just to different music, even the same elements as their lifts, do NOT make a champion either. and especially when that said team refuse to execute SD patterns cleanly and accurately because they will only rely on their repetitive FDs

    • @Nina oh heck yeah! and p/c are the ones that keep ramming their storyline that their FDs are all about artistry. as if what v/m are doing are not artistic at all. v/m hits the perfect, LEGENDARY balance between artistry and athleticism. p/c are way inferior on their skating skills, especially with all the repetitive elements year after year. nothing new. repetition leads to muscle memory, hence things are performed more easily than having to train for them all season long. and is that what you call athleticism?

  • It's still ridiculous that they received NO deduction for Moir's fall and yes, it was a fall. Both his hands and a knee touched the ice to keep him from crashing completely. It also happened as they were coming out of an element, which should have affected the points earned for it. It also broke the flow of the program and yet, they won! It reminds me of the 2011 Grand Prix Final SD where Moir (again) fell flat on his back and although they were more than five points behind Davis and White going into the FD, the judges made up nearly ALL those points for V&M in the FD, leaving Davis and White to win by only 0.05 when the margin should have been much wider. Outrageous. Five points is an insurmountable lead in ice dance and yet, it just proves, as does his competition, how certain judges were always there to "help" them and how they were over-scored for much of their career. Obviously, someone wanted to give them the advantage of being World Champions going into the Peyongchang Olympics because P&C had been defeating them pretty consistently.

Oh, and by the way, it was not a fall, 'cause according to the ISU (rule 502 par 2/ 503 par 1), both knees or/and the majority of the body have to touch the surface to be considered a fall, so you may need educated yourself a little bit.
