  • I'm a native English speaker, taught at school in England. I have never learned this for English. I have only learned about such grammar for foreign languages. This is ridiculous! Thank you for this lesson.

  • If Lucy was my English teacher in school, I probably wouldn't have ended up becoming a lazy native English speaker. These have got to be the best English lessons I've ever seen, very engaging with so many great examples.

  • I'm enjoying these lessons for four reasons: - Learning the rules which underpin the ways I instinctively use and pronounce English - Seeing IPA spellings to accompany such pronunciation - Her demonstration of syllabic emphasis compared with my American English - Being flattered as a "lovely student"

    • I don’t know which is worse: complicated tenses in English or unpredictable genders of German nouns. Complicated morphology in Slavic languages is probably even more challenging. Hard to tell if your native language is Russian. Anyway, viel Glück beim Lernen!
