  • Holy hell, It is not an exaggeration to say this is probably the best green screen x 3D blender work that I've seen here on KZhead (excluding the infamous IAN hubert scene). We need a tutorial/breakdown of this!!

  • 背景もさることながら、トラッキング、人物の影も違和感なく、blenderを学びながら作ったとは思えないクオリティです。もともとaeの技術が高いお方だからこそ出来る所業だと思いました。noteで貴重な制作過程をみれて２倍おいしい。スティック、髪の毛を手作業で抜くとか「いにしえ」の職人技術ですやん。自分も学生の時に3Dかじったきりだったので、Blenderはじめようと思いました。約一年の制作期間おつかれさまでした。

  • amazing work, this is what i've been learning as I have been wanting to get back into the music industry. making 3D sets is something i want to do more of, helps keep the cost down, but you can literally do whatever or be wherever you want. I love this video, reminds me of FF... dope song, dope video, dope all around! good job man

    • It's easy once you understand it. You need to track the footage, import the tracked footage to blender(or just track it in blender if you prefer that), and then position the imported camera from the tracked footage to match the model along with the footage. And then remove the greenscreen

  • Ray great work. I wish you had shown the finished video 1st THEN played back pieces that revealed the clever compositing and 3D set building. I hope you make a tutorial or just demo video showing how you created shadows and reflections that are crucial to connecting the real footage to the virtual sets.

  • Nice work. Thanks for the breakdown. I read your article about the process, and was wondering what you meant by camera tracking being difficult due to too few markers? If you were shooting this now, how would you have changed your approach in placing the green screen markers?

    • Blender camera tracker needs at least 8 tracking points, and they should have decent spatial depth. I would place more tracking points for the background and place something like lamp stand in front of the camera as foreground tracking points.
