When influencer-type vloggers like these say don't visit, then it must be the best time to go.
i agree they think they can go to a place and be the only one there !! , and when it has no crowed, they till you its dead and not good
I do kinda agree with them though, Boracay isn’t really that great, only good thing is there’s lots of hotels for ok prices, but El Nido and Palawan in general is much better.
Currently in Boracay, been here over 6 times... Last time was 11 years ago... Will not be back... Far too developed now... Was heading that way 11 years ago tbh... Just brought the kids this time
if you tied the vloggers arms together maybe he cant speak. So annoying to watch him
@@robertmcwhirter1597 I totally agree with you it’s contagious she’s also catching the habit from him 🙌
Thanks for the recent roundup of your knowledge about Boracay, not only as a beautiful destination, but also as a person. If you don't mind me asking, could you share how much your trip to Boracay cost?
Thank you for an honest review! Boracay did not meet your expectations but made suggestions on what type of travelers might enjoy it - this is what a lot of creators lack, the ability to see beyond their own views. Great content!
Boracay is super busy now, but the sunsets definitely are amazing! The diving spots here too are really great and when I was there we found a great cafe/restaurant called Aplaya, which did the best stone baked pizzas! Hope you guys are having the best Philippines trip!
This makes me want to Boracay. The video is awesome!
I've been to beaches all over the world, and Boracay has the best beaches by far! Also, the best people! No where else is even close! If you want to go to the most beautiful place in the world, you have to have money, it ain't cheap. If you don't have any money, go to Mexico.
You have never been to any beach if you think Boracay is the best beach in the world ha ha ha I doubt you have ever been out of the Philippines
I'm an American, and live in the USA. I've been to 38 countries, and hundreds of beaches. And you my friend, wouldn't know your a@% from a hole in the ground!
I have lived in asia for 15 years mate! Been to 69 countries. Never trust an opinion from a yank - they have no idea about world travel
Boracay is just paradise, in my experience.

Too many scammers. There are honest people, but the scammers are just too many. If you are a tourist, local or foreigner, if they get an idea that you don't know anything of the island, they will turn into a scammer. I pity the honest people/sellers/drivers who work hard there but they are just too few. compared to the scammers which is their actual way of living there - to scam tourists.
Love your videos. Thought this was really well done. Beautiful place, but it does look pretty crowded in many areas, as you say.
I was there in 1980 as a Peace Corps Volunteer. No hotels, no boats, very few tourists. It looks like Miami Beach now. It exploded after German tourists found out about it in the 90's. Glad I went when I did!
it's the Australian and Chinese tourists that ruined it
Great video guys! We were in Manila and were supposed to go to the islands, but we changed our plans because of the rainy season. We will be back in November. Do you think it is still a good time to visit despite all the rain? Feel like we missed out when I watch your video. The beaches in Borocay and the water wow 😍
Nov. is good to first few weeks of May. End of May to Oct. is rainy season and some seasonal rains on Nov.
Boracay definitely lives up to the hype. Been there earlier this year and fell in love with it ever since. Planning to spend Christmas there this year again with the family. However I’m not surprised with foreigners being charged almost double or even triple the price for almost everything here. Sadly it’s like that in most tourist attractions in the Philippines. Locals just assume you “wouldn’t mind” spending extra just because you came from abroad. Though I’m gonna be a d*ck and say that it’s the west’s tipping culture which also contributed to this mindset.
crimson resort in boracay is my only hide away whenever i visit philippines. there are few spots there away from the crowd so clean and well maintained but crimson suits my needs. and don't get me wrong, i love crowd when adventuring and drinking (lol) but when resting and relaxing, i just want a secluded, private and comfortable space and yes its a bit pricey compared to other islands. But what can i do, i simply love boracay...
Boracay is still my happy place. It has the right mix of island and developed vibe.
I can see why it's a beautiful island and perfect for lots of people! :)
Boracay for me is still beautiful. Can’t wait to go there next year .I don’t mind paying a little more . I don’t mind the crowd . Foreigners might not like it . I guess to each it’s own preference.
Boracay is complete CRAP ! I LUAGH WHEN PEOPLE THINK ITS PARADISE- Never been to Fiji, Tonga Vanuwatu, Great Barrier reef, Cook Islands, Sri Lanka- I could make list for the next 2 hours! Ha h ah go to Boracay if you have no idea what paradise is really like@@kristinelizaso2352
when its rainy season the seaweeds are expected. we cant do anything about it cause its nature its what it does at any beach in the philippines after the rain. i guess the best time to go to boracay is summer when there is little to none rain and almost no seaweeds at seashores.
Welcome back; enjoy your stay!
This makes me want to Boracay. The video is awesome!
Indeed an honest review. But thanks for the visit.
Damn those beach shots! 👏🏼
The sunset is amazing ❤❤❤
I love these kind of travelers. They are happy and positive people. They’re not looking for perfect place instead they find beauty in everything even it’s not perfect 😊
Aww thank you so much!!
I’ve traveled a good bit too and felt sand all over but so far siesta key in Florida has the best sand. White like snow and feels exactly like baby powder. It’s also cold so doesn’t burn your feet. It’s a MUST if you’re looking for the best & softest sand in the world ❤️
I will keep that in mind, planning on a Keys vacation this summer :)
you would also like Destin Florida too then.. check it out.. clearer water too.. Beautiful in the summer..
Boracay is a tropical dream, and your video paints a vivid picture of its beauty. It's now firmly on my travel radar❤
Nice Video. Watching from Manila Philippines ❤
I've been to Boracay last July and there weren't many people there. I mean sure there are plenty of tourists but not Bali crowded lol. And as a Filipino I found the prices to be fair. Thanks for visiting my country ❤️
I was now in October and not a lot of tourists right now and very good weather! The price of things is almost dubbele of that of Clark, for example, so a bit pricey
Bali masih yang terbaik di mata turis dunia😍
isnt that P300 etrike fare overpriced??? i think
Another great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
May i ask which island wouls you recommend thanks!
I have never been to boracay but videos like this make me wanna go still!
Welcome back keepsafe always
Thank you!! :)
Love that you guys visited one of the best beach in the world. hope you visit more of the beautiful beaches here in the philippines 🇵🇭🎉
There are islands around Panay Island that are just as good as Boracay but less crowded. I would suggest checking them out especially those near Iloilo.
Awesome!! Thanks for the tips! :)
Tabalas islands and Romblon island?
@@Joelfriend You can check Isla de Gigantes in Carles, Iloilo or the islands in Concepcion, Iloilo. Guimaras Island (aka Mango Island) is a hidden gem too.
@@ericroca8879 Gigantes would no doubt be touristic. It is a very beautiful island. But we had really bad experience with locals trying to scam us and we were traveling with someone who can speak their language.
welcome back beautiful couple =)
What do you guys do with your belongings when you are in the sea? How do you prevent them from being stolen?
They don't get stolen. The people know tourism is their livelihood and wouldn't do anything to jeopardize it with a bad rep.
When we went there. They had a boat ride to the other side of the island where the snorkeling was great. I actually saw a sea snake.
I snorkel near Willy’s rock, there’s plenty of fish already and its very fun to swim with them. But if you want a really good snorkeling spot, you need to rent a boat they’ll bring you closer to the best spots.
Just connected to your channel. Great adventures.. Thanks for sharing.
💘💝💖you guys looking cute as always. boracay is still beautiful and has its own charm
you will enjoy white beach from dec to may as its very calm and don't have a lot of seaweeds, puka and bulabog beach is on the other side that why its calm during the rainy season
Awesome, that's great to know!
Welcome back beautiful couple... enjoy
Thanks for watching!
Why is the the Why you shouldn't??? Boracay may have irs up and Down but if you dont have the budget of course you miss many of its amazing amenities and Offers. I have a friend who went to place didn't went out of the hotel and said bad things about a place. Saying you don't have no Budget for the fun things Boracay has to offer and went there and call it overrated is just plain unfair and stupid. But its still a great Island 🏝️ and part of the Philippines Paradise 🇵🇭 and we too are travel a lot but my family don't bad mouth a place from Europe to Asia and call it overrated because we lack the fund's to utilize it's offers and the people are friendly more than I can say to foreigners in their country
hey! Make sure you watch the whole video, I didn't bad mouth it :) Boracay is beautiful, I just prefer other islands in the Philippines and yes it is more expensive then other Filipino islands but that doesn't make it bad just good for other tourists to be aware in case it's not in their budget! All the best :)
It's mediocre traveler click-bait. And so disrespectful of people who live there.
Welcome back to The Philipines❤. If you would like to see our beautiful mountains please come up to Benguet and Mt. Province.😊
I'm just wondering what station you visited in Boracay. Is it station 1 (Luxury Hotels) station 2 (shopping/partying) or station 3 ( far & overcrowded)?
Station 3 is the most quiet, station 2 is crowded and noisy, station 1 is OK but more expensive.
WEelcome back 🇵🇭
hi how did you get to puka beach? that very place looks not a lot of people and very nice diving, we are going there in april 24'
E-tricycle for 300!? That’s expensive the most I’d pay is 100-150 pesos! That breakfast is also expensive for that type of food. Trust me I’m Filipino!
The much better or fair title, "watch this video before you go", let the viewers know the pros and cons first, then decide whether to go or not to go and the title has already made an absolute verdict discouraging travellers to see for themselves the reputation of the island as being the Best island in the world voted 3 times.
My wife and I just got back from a 3-day trip, and it honestly wasn’t the greatest. The view and the beach itself are absolutely spectacular, there’s no doubt about that. But holy shit, there was non-stop bugging by the kuyas trying to sell their parasailing/activity packages, and it really left a sour taste in our mouths. Every second you’re walking down the strip “MA’AM SIR, MA’AM SIR PLEASE PARASAILING, ISLAND HOPING!” You try to sit on the beach and enjoy the day with a coconut drink, 10 different people will come over and bother you about the same parasailing and island hoping packages, along with the sunglasses guy, the Groot statue guy and the kid trying to sell you necklaces for a long relationship. You go out to the ocean for a dip, then there’s a guy paddling over to you trying to get you to rent a paddle board for an hour. You get out to try and find lunch/dinner, there’s a hundred different people screaming “HAPPY HOUR MA’AM SIR, BUY ONE GET ONE!!!”, but when you get to the restaurant that sounds enticing the service is usually pretty abysmal. Boracay is nothing like the rest of the Philippines. We took another trip to Oslob, did the whale shark activity and many other things and had an absolute blast. I don’t think we’ll be back to Boracay.
Yep I had the same experience
Was this in July? How’s the overall weather?
great videooooo, post more pls😍
Thank you, I will try ahah
My brother in-law love Boracay. He prefers it over Palawan mainly because he likes the crowd, the parties every night, etc. I myself prefers the beaches in Bohol. I don't like crowd and prefers a more secluded beach which we have plenty in Philippines. So each to their own preferences.
You're from the Philippines? Any suggestion on somewhere to go other than Boracay that you can meet people? I want to go to the beach but I'm 38 and its harder to meet people in the touristy areas because i'm older now and Boracay is more expensive anyways.
Exactly! 😊 For some people Boracay will be the perfect place to visit!
@@StevenPennyI. Nyy v 1 m 9pU7 1t5
@@StevenPennyRomblon is another place to visit, it is near Boracay. Only few people go there as it is not as popular as Boracay.
@@StevenPenny Bohol, Palawan Nacpan Beach, Siargao, Camiguin
Cannot wait to go back this September
Hi. What month did you guys go?
Welcome back keepsafe
thanks a lot :)
Indeed, it is overcrowded like the City of Manila. If you are looking for a perfect "day & night" getaway, El Nido, Coron, & Siargao.
Bloody right. I went to coron late February and it was not crowded. Planning to go again next year at same time.
Very good at pointing out great things and things that aren't. I hope they will limit the number of tourists so tourists will be able to enjoy more of the island.
Beautiful sunset colors.
They are!
That being said... Boracay is still the best! ❤
related to Corrigedor is Mt. Samat in Bataan where a tall memorial cross n museum is located also dedicated to the thousands of Filipino n American soldiers who died fighting the Japanese during WW2...
awesome review
There is coco Curry in mitsukoshi mall bgc.
Well i personally think Boracay is gorgeous and a definite place to visit.
Visit the beach on December to May, June to November is rainy season so there will be lots of debris
Yes true
I'm in PH right now and need to decide on where to fly out to tomorrow. You helped me exclude Boracay, going to Siargao ✅
Siargao is a great place! Highly recommend it!
@Joelfriend just booked my flight to Siargao :) Also, great work on the content, love your energies.
The best view in the Philippines 🎉❤
Hello guys, whats the best island can u recommend so far u have visited pls???????
350 Peso for Terminal fee is ridiculous Terminal had already build long ago also environmental fee 150 peso is really a Shock why tourist should pay for such fee.
Thats a very fair review. well done
Ive seen your video. I enjoyed it.
It was a heaven when i visited back in 2015, the beach was indeed the best i've seen so far. But it truly is devastating to me how its become today.... over-commecialized and over-hyped. The price has quadrupled, if not tripled just within few years. My flight ticket was MYR400 direct, but now it's at least MYR1300 transit! And even by the look of your video, it was so crowded it feels frustrating.. I still remember before i left, there were constructions of luxury hotels nearby, i guess that's why it has become what it is today.. sad that i may never want to go back again as well..
am a backpacker who's going to be in the Philippines for about a month. Looking for somewhere vibrant and bustling over the Christmas and NY period which is why I'm drawn to Boracay (lots of nightlife and celebration's etc). With this in mind, do you think Boracay would be a good choice. I'll be planning to go to Siargao after
I visited Boracay in June 2023 and I agree it’s a little bit overrated and lot of hype. I’m from Australia. The sea bathing is enjoyable. Massive wastage of fish and other sea food and sea urchins as well as chicken and pork.
I am excited how cheap Siargao is. When I am in Boracay, I honestly spend much. Everything is expensive.
I have a secret spot somewhere in station three. The island is all to myself
I wish I could visit one of the beautiful beaches in the Philippines, Boracay. Tnx for sharing this video.
I discover Boracay in feb.1981 it was paradise.I stay there 3 weeks.I've been return there in 2011,2012 and 2020.The beach is still there, the most beautifull i ever saw in all my travels. I return there in Februar or Mars this year.I'm a french guy. 😉😛😜🤑
Agree...it is a bit more expensive than other parts of the Philippines because there are so many tourists going there...I've been there 1995 and 2009, I'm sure it has gone up with all their pricing. It is good if you're only staying there for a few days and not recommended if more than 1 wk.
I forever love Boracay ❤
You should try Palawan or Bohol. Much less crowds
Boracay =1 (star) El Nido=2 Alona(Panglao)=3 Siargao=4 Puerto Galera=5 Moalboal=6
Hello guys back to phil .awesome.ok.enjoy ur vlog at boracay.good day n im glad fir both of u .😊😂
Try camiguin island in northern Mindanao, very adventury island..
We went to Camiguin on our last trip to the Philippines and we loved it!! :)
I live in Camiguin isl. but not really nice beach here, only white sand beah and Mantigue isl. White beach in Boracay it's the most beautiful i saw all my life.I'm 71 old.First time in Boracay was on 1981.
Ur right balabac is one of a kind island
Great place to visit
Try to visit summer and you will see how beautiful the sand of Boracay.
You should also try visit camotes island. They have a lot of beautiful caves and the beaches are also superb! 🎉
Yes nonies is very good restaurant
Thank you for sharing. I miss the good old days during the 1980's when Boracay was a backpacker's paradise. And the place have not been discovered by the moralists from Manila. And every now and them, women would go topless or even full blown nude sunbathing.
while in Manila take a short trip to Corrigedor Island about 20 mins. boat ride on a fastcraft, boarding area located behind the Cultural Center Manila...this island at the mouth of Manila Bay is one of the last battleground during WW2 where Filipino n American forces fought the Japanese....it like a sort of Pearl Harbor memorial in Hawaii....its worth visit for a different experience.
How do you book a boat to Corregidor? Is there someone we can call or email? We tried emailing and calling the Corregidor board and no one answered for months. Wanted to visit the historical sites when my boyfriend and I were in Manila
Boracay is really beautiful places
nice both of you 😊
I'd like to visit Boracay it looks a beautiful island.. are the Philippines a safe place to visit? . Just found your channel. Thanks
Yes,safe place.
To be honest you should still go, It is pretty nice beach. There are other less busy and developed beaches. Boracay is not for poor backpacker. The sand is white and the water is clear. Since the pandemic there is a limited number of people they let on the island at any given time and it has been cleaned up so no trash on the beach at all.
That's exactly why we avoid going to Boracay, and chose other Islands instead. We will ass well show those in our channel 😊
Definitely better choices in the Philippines :)
@@Joelfriend Which is your favorite in PH? El Nino?
Joel’s suncream 😂 we agree boracay is beautiful but the vibe, cost and activities are much better on other islands 🏝️
Yeah definitely agree!
I went to Boracay nearly 20 years ago. It looks so much more built up and busier than it was then.
Also I have a hand painted t-shirt from there that I have never worn (I wouldn't fit in it now 😂)
I was last there fifteen years ago, just as the Shang was being built (before the puka shells disappeared). It's a shame to see what has been done to the place, as the locals have probably not benefited a bit.
I mean been to daram island with my girlfriend since that’s where she is from. Never been to Boracay and daram island isn’t a tourist attraction or destination so not really anything to do. And electricity is off for days. But the sunset was also beautiful there. The ocean was nice. And no one in the ocean but locals. Would rather go back to daram island than to Boracay.
visit Balabac Palawan and Batanes
We visited Palawan and Balabac on our previous trips, it was amazing!
like the beach ❤❤❤
Seaweed on the beach makes the sand softer?
So apparently the breaking down of seaweed makes the sand softer - interesting when I found out too
Hoping you can visit now BATANES
We would love to!!
