15 Most Dangerous Dog Breeds in the World!

Considered ‘man’s best friend’, dogs are normally good-natured, loyal and affectionate; however some have a reputation for being anything but. Not that this is necessarily true for every dog of the same breed. In fact, this video, which is for educational purposes only, shows some of the dog breeds that are considered dangerous by birth, but not all of them are raised to be dangerous. From the highly protective American Bully to the dog held responsible for most fatalities from dog attacks in the US over a 13-year period, here are 15 Most Dangerous Dog Breeds in the World.

  • Sorry for anyone who is upset with the context behind the video. Dogs ARENT dangerous if you raise them in a love and caring environment. We have 2 dogs, in love with them, and we are aware that most dogs are better than some humans.

    • What do you make of all the unprovoked attacks by so called good dogs with so called good owners? This happens with regularity with Pitbull dogs. Perhaps you think it's a baby that brought it upon him/herself? All we ever hear now is how it's a bad owners fault and not the dogs. I would think it's a little of both. Anyone who would pick a fighting dog as a family pet doesn't care about their families, friends or others, just themselves. It's the tough guy image of the dog they like and they're willing to put the public at risk just to prove to the world how THEY can handle it where others have failed. A Chihuahua might nip you and run, a Pitbull will rip you to shreds. Blaming the dogs upbringing is just another excuse you came up with after following the comments from youtube videos. Easy to see you'd put a dog ahead of a human life so it sounds like you're one of those owners you blame for the problem.

    • @@fuzzball4258 What does a couple of mutts possibly prove? How about NOTHING. No one said ALL Pitbulls bite, the statistics you deny says you're 4.5 times more likely to be attacked by one. Seems you're also willing to take a chance with children, yet no children are safe around ANY dogs. You may as well be walking through a minefield. As for behind closed doors, the attacks often happen on the street. How would you account for these? Most Pit owners have a fascination with violence and train their mutts to attack and bite if a stranger was to enter their homes...they blatantly call these "protection dogs." No professional dog trainers either, just a bunch of idiots, drug dealers and those with no more than a grade 7 education looking for the thrill of a break in. Some of you fancy pants Pit owners who don't like my comments have been threatening me with their mutts. It just goes to show you where their heads are at and why they got a Pit in the first place.

      @hugostiglitz2388@hugostiglitz23884 жыл бұрын
    • Desk Top first of all I did not own a couple of mutts. I’m not threatening you and have no intention of doing so. And once again that only proves bad owners not bad dogs. So try another lie because you just contracted yourself. I didn’t put any one at rush because at the first sign of aggression my dogs would be at another home. I’d like to know where you got your degree in animal behavior. I don’t have one EITHER. I’m just an educated caring owner of 2 pit bulls that never ever growled snapped or bit or attempted to bite anyone. And that was over 27 years 13 1/2 years each. They were both put dow for illness. They both had cancer. Lymphoma. The same with one of my cats. Bone cancer.

    • @@fuzzball4258 There is no contradiction as all Pit owners claim to be good owners and that's both the enigma and the paradox. This is the lie perpetuated by Pit owners in a vain attempt to dilute the problem. It's always something else, not them. It's always something was done to the dog, it's always "my dog has never bitten anyone before" or "he's never done that before." If fact they brag about just how gentle their Pit Bull dogs are until something happens...then with two taps of the magic wand / / they turn into mixed breeds...AGAIN to deceive and dilute the problem. One would therefore assume the ones not to trust are the mutts with clean records? Yes, they are mutts as they're not recognized by the AKA as a breed. Big headed, ugly as sin and with Satan's temperament if they get riled up. Pits have a low tolerance for other dogs and have been known to turn on each other. People have come home to find one of their Pits has ripped the other to shreds. Does this sound normal to you? A young girl in NYC recently had BOTH of her arms torn off by a Pit and was awarded $57 million dollars by the courts...and all this by the ideal family pet promoted by lying rescue shelters. And my favorite lying excuse I constantly hear from Pit owners?....."well, Chihuahuas bite too..." When has a Chihuahua EVER torn a persons arms off? Lies? Yes, all Pit owners lie about just how safe their mutts are and deny the statistics claiming they're fixed to give a negative opinion of the dogs.

    • It is misinformation based only on misinterpretations or half truths at best, that spreads fear, ignorance, and intolerance in the world. It only makes it worse for the innocent animals who can not speak to defend themselves. You should be ashamed of putting garbage like this out in the world. Just because you can make a video and say something doesn't mean you should.

    • I agree with you, take the clip of the reporter leaning over the German Shepard for an example, you should never bend over a dog like that and the owner should have asked him to back up sit facing forward and let the dog get comfortable. If you know how to approach dogs and know their body language you will be perfectly fine. Honestly I'd trust any of these breeds over an unstable chihuahua. I have a dachshund and a boxer and my dachshund needed twice the amount of training as the big scary boxer that peed herself when a stranger walked into my house. These lists are how breeds become banned and its unfair to the dogs and the responsible owners. I was a pet sitter for 5 years which means I walked into people's homes that I had only met once or twice and not once was I ever bitten and I watched just about every breed on this list plus some including doggo argentinos cane corsos and many many pits bullys etc. To the person who had to put their dog down I am so sorry my mom had 3 bichons and they were so friendly I can't imagine going through what you did the owner of that dog should be charged with negligence thank God the dog didn't attack you as well.

    • In a way I agree but in a way I disagree, if the dog fails to protect its the dogs fault tho if you barely train them they won't protect aswell breeds such as the dobermann don't need much training as they already protect its in their blood but yeah in a way I guess you're kind of right👍🏼

Don't know where you got that information but I would certainly like to read it. However, I do agree with all of the others on the list. I'm not sure about the pecking order but they all can be aggressive. The worse breeds I encountered were the Akita, Chow, Shar-Pei, Great Dane and Malinois. If I see one of those coming down the street I go in the house lol. Thanks for a great video.

  • I used to have a male Doberman. Incredibly intelligent dog. It is perfect around kids! Very protective indeed and actually saved us from robbers one time, which i am forever grateful. Its true they bite then let go and bite gain and again, They can inflict massive amount of damage for a very short time. He was comfortable letting people in when a family member is NOT there only if they knew them very well. If you try to enter and he doesn't know you very well... Well you should run fast. I was afraid of that just in case children drop balls in the yard and jump over to take it so i put signs. But i was surprised when i went home one day to find two neighbors kids jumped over for a ball and then playing with the dog and the ball. Which made me think he recognized when someone is a threat and when not. I was so sad when he died of old age. But remember those dogs are very demanding. They are not easily trained, takes consistency and firmness. Training them with food rewards doesn't work so well with them. They really need to understand the chain of command or you are going to have troubles. So it's always best to consult with professional trainers when you are dealing with Dobermans. PS They love to cuddles more than a cat and if you have a fire place in the winter you will find them constantly laying in front of it. Plus secretly while you sleep they can jump in the bed under the covers and cuddle up in your feet haha. They are truly amazing, loving, loyal and protective dogs. I just miss him so much.

I guess defining what you mean by "Dangerous" would be the key to understanding your list. Maybe I'm looking at it more like capable guard dogs as opposed to dogs with temperament issues. Bull Mastiffs, Rotts, and pretty much all the giant breeds would top a list of capable guard dogs. I did enjoy your perspective of the Great Danes. I had a Dane and although he was very nice he was also very protective and capable. But yeh, Boerboels should be on any list like this. Thanks for the video.

He wasn't loud, NEVER fought a day in his life. He was loved by my cat's, the strays I fed and everybody. I lost him to lymphoma at 13 and it broke my heart. He would get my up if I fell or lay right beside me. They're not viscous. I also had two mini daschunds and my partner had a German Shepard and they all got along fantastic. Never any trouble. • German Shepards are a great dog, and probably my favorite breed. My mom has one and I love her to pieces. They're adorable and make great watch dogs and a lot of them, like my mom's, love to cuddle. To be fair, though, they are more closely related to a wolf than any other dog breed including the husky breeds, which I didn't learn til recently. This means that they do have a bit of a wild nature sometimes. I have heard of people having full-blooded wolves as pets too. They can also be good pets from what I have heard, but are very much a one person animal and like their hybrids, can be very untrusting of other people. I had a friend who's dad had I believe it was an arctic wolf before I knew him and he said she was very loving, but could be dangerous with others.

  • I had a Yukon black phase wolf (not wolf dog) he was 100% wolf. He only lived for 10 years, I raised him from 3 months. He was 100% house broken and sweet as could be. Also very obedient. I never needed a leash for him and anyone's greatest worry would've been him licking you to death after he jumps on you. Jumping up was the only thing I could never break him of. Sit, lay down, jump, speak, cry, roll over, shake, shut the door, up, and you name it.. He would do it all and i never had to actually teach him any of those things.. I probably had to demonstrate to him some things once but he just picked up on things. I worked 12 hour days and most of the time he was left alone inside. If I wasn't working, he was with me. If I was going to work he would stand in my bedroom window and howl even if he had company. He was great with my kids and everyone else's that he had meant. He went into off mode lol.. Kids would grab on him and hang in him and he wouldn't move. He'd just look at you with a save me look lol.. But would immediately respond if someone started to approach children around him that he didn't know. He wouldn't stand down unless I told him it was okay. They he would simply sit or walk away. After he was about a year and a half old, he only ever made one mess in my house, but he was sick. He never peed or pooped outside of that one time .. After he had matured. The first roughly 15 months of him though.. Holy hell he was a handful. Lmao.. Just completely crazy! He never like other male dogs though and loved all of the females. Raising him was different. Was more of a respect thing instead of dominance by training, he was too stubborn for typical training. He had to eat mostly raw meat because most dog foods made him vomit or .. Both .. Raw chicken, deer, FISH, and beef. He LOVED FISH. He was a big dude, right about 150 pounds of lap dog. He was a blast, one hell of a friend, and an experience. I couldn't go anywhere with him without everyone freaking out about how beautiful he was and how big he was n all that lol and he always let stranger pet him.. Licked them all over.. Lmao.. A dog can only be as smart as its owner. If someone has a bad Wolf as a pet. They approached it in the wrong way. No need for a kennel outside. It's either an indoor pet or it's a wild animal in a cage and there's a difference. No one with a soul wants to be in a cage and trust me wolves have some soul. Most dogs you train by exercising dominance training. Teaching them good and bad. While letting them know you're in charge. You can't do that with a wolf. It's all about respect. If you show them respect. They will respect you and will be forever loyal to you. I never started a dominance war with Creo and if I would've.. He probably wouldn't ever have been manageable. If he did wrong, I would let him know he upset me or made me mad. I wouldn't give him attention or I would put him outside and not let him in for hours. I house broke him by setting his food and water dish next to whatever mess he made when he was a pup and I wouldn't clean it until he ate his food. He learned fast to not do that.... I miss him dearly. He passed away of a heart attack in my arms. I always had regular check ups at the vet with him and he was never actually sick a day in his life.. He got into some things a few times (usually cats food outside) but never any problems. They're prone to heart problems though.. And apparently this happens. My sister also has a red wolf, full blood. He's fully house broken and a sweetheart as well. Once again.. Even the people we got our wolfs from (we had to fly to get them) said that they are terrible pets. A dog can only be as smart as their owner. They're the best of pets. They offer true friendship and the most amazing experience. I consider myself lucky to have had the chance to share 10 years of my life with such an amazing animal. R.I.P. Creo.

    • The Raging Platypus dogs typically aren’t born assholes. Yes they have personalities but dogs aren’t born “bad” they learn behaviors even if people don’t notice that they encourage bad behaviors but they do. Dogs test behaviors to learn wether or not those are good or bad. Mental disorders are a completely different thing but most problems with dogs are caused by people and can be fixed or at least toned down.

All well trained and work as a pack with my German Shepard, Thor as the alpha. These guys put up with my girls jumping on them, holding tails and leading and herding my girls safely. They swim with them, act as pillows when watching movies and sleep at the foot of their beds at night. Best breeds ever.

  • Being a dog lover, there’s still one breed I don’t really trust, the Chow. They are one person dogs

    • I dated a guy with a chow before. I thought he was so cute and harmless and slept in the room with us. Years later I asked him about his chow he said the chow turned on him. I was shock

  • My neighbour has a Great Dane and it gets out once in a blue moon and comes into my yard with the Kelpie, they’re both good dogs and I usually take them back into the yard, neither are aggressive or dangerous but they do still bark at me when I walk outside near my gate and yet they know me😂😂I know it’s a protective instinct, but they are well trained and behaved as are all the dogs in my street and town except for the small ones😂😂😂. So is it weird now that I actually wanna get some of these dogs because of their loyalty and protective nature because I really want a few now😂😍

  • A dog attitude depends on its owner.. Some people want their dogs for pets where as others see them for working regardless if it’s guard or otherwise. Where as there are dogs that are watch dogs and also loving to their family. Love them all❤️❤️
