  • So glad I came across this. I worked at the MA state house in college, and later on when ‘The Last of Us’ was released I was losing my mind at the detail. I would try to line up old photos because I am that cool. Not many to share that yearning with at the time, so this was gratifying to see. Nice production quality too - keep up the great work!

  • Wow, this is amazing! Thank you guys! I'm just now going through the remake, I didn't even know the locations were recreated in such detail. Unfortunately, due to political tensions between countries, I may never be able to visit your country, but at least I was able to visit the cultural sites of Boston in the game :)

  • What I really like about the game that completely follow a path to a destination in most of these levels. It gives the player orientation and amost no trickery is used. Its easy to navigate yourself in Boston, Bill´s Town, Pittsburgh and the Lakeside Resort. This also extends to the inside of buidings like the Pittsburgh hotel where the geometry of the inside matches the outside looks. And I like that they kept the realism with Part2´s Seattle. Why is this comment so long?, well I have time until my PC compiles all the shaders :)

    • The Last of Us: it's a game originally released in 2013, for the PS3. It was revolutionary - both in terms of graphical fidelity and storylines for video games. It is regarded by many to be the best game of the decade. Recently it has been remade for the PS5, and a remaster was released around 2014-15 for the PS4.

  • 0:21 You got the bridge wrong. It is the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge that connects Ohio to West Virginia on interstate 470. It’s in Wheeling, WV. It’s not the bridge in Pittsburgh. It is the way to Pittsburgh though. You are in WV for 15 min before it takes you into PA. I lived right across the river when they filmed this shot. Had the interstate shut down on and off for a few days. They used multiple high end drones over a period of time from a rented location to achieve this. Who would of thought so much work could go into a short clip. Thank you for all the time and effort you out into this video!

  • I am trying to build the city nearest to me but i will not model much of it so it will only be like 20-30% accurate, mostly the layout and shape of the buildings.. One person can't do much especially unexperienced in game dev but i am trying. :D
