As a small business owner...the govt doesn't have to abide by the same rules I do. They can do whatever they want bc there's zero accountability

I was a small business owner almost 10 years. I am clossing my business in 2 weeks because of increase inflation, taxes, insurance and so on. I hope that lady is proud or don't care of a small business guy closing up.

Being a small business owner since 1985, I can honestly say the federal government of these United States of America 🇺🇸 under a Democratic President has not helped and imposed layers of restrictions on us. We need a reset on the whole A.I.A.

For her to say that the federal gov is in anyway helping small businessee is just draw dropping to me. Ive had a small business for 10 years.. i mean really small.. me and my brother and 2 other people.. probably not unlike her parents business. we make just enough to get by, but we are in no way wealthy.. if you could see the hoops we have to go through per employee, and the books we have to keep, just for what is basically being a handyman, it would blow your mind too.. noone is looking out for us, but ourselves, and all we can do is to keep jumping the hurdles thrown in front of us to feed our families.. for her to act as though she is helping us.. ugh..
This lady should not be in this position!!! Never had a business ran a business but trying to make laws for Businesses!!!! And everytime the Government says they are there to help no they are there to add more exspence to their budget and more headache's with paperwork and trying to be compliant with the most dumb rules they come up with!!
The answer to her is more reliance on government

Its amazing that they hold these entertaining shows...Every one of these shows are spent asking people a yes or no question...and they can not answer it ....why is that? If my child answers me other than no or yes to a yes or no question...."Did you take the cookie ? If I got a distortation from my 7 year old I would know she is hiding the truth.....why can't the Senators or Congressman know this and just say ill take that as my answer ...becasue they do not want to own up to the fact...they took the cookie
What is the point of congress or the hearings ! , all that i ever see happening is that senators ask a question , the witness refuses to answer the question and everyone goes home , congress needs to have the power to arrest and detain and charge anyone who refuses to co-operate with congress .

This is not an effective line of questioning. The heart of the question is the following : When me and my employer has signed a contract that defines the type of relationship between us , that can be enforced in the courts by the good old contract laws, who is the government or DOL to come and redefine that relationship (employee or contractor)? This question has been properly asked by the congress woman Lisa McClain.
