Speaker Johnson sounds like he's the President. Ukraine needs the aid ASAP. It should have been provided before Xmas.
It is very upsetting that our Representatives are talking about our "obligations" to pass foreign aid bills when there are so many needs going unmet in our own country. Immigration and border security, infrastructure , health care accessability, crime all need to be addressed. When are our representatives going to put America first?
As a European I don't think one exclude the other, the US's international reputation is a key interest of your country. Don't fall for the isolationist trap. That being said, have yourselves some fair government taxation and by all means get that household in order, sure.
