Security was a one-off Swedish synthpop project. The members were only presented as Criss, Tom and Paul. A photo on the back of the sleeve of their only release, the "Total Destruction" 12" single, shows the members with black rectangles covering their eyes. However, if you know your Swedish 80s pop history they are easily identified by their iconic hair as Christer Sandelin, Tommy Ekman and Paul Rein. They have clearly taken ispiration from Paul Hardcastle's "19" on this one, but moving the story from the Vietnam war to the cold war and the threat of a nuclear conflict. The song was written and produced by the band and released by Alpha Records (ONEMAX 009) in 1985.
