    • With all the other videos you're regularly putting out I don't know where you'd find the time to do anything else! I had an idea though, notnsure if it's practical but while your taking your time building it, you could put tiny updates about it at the end of a video, if you had any. Or put a short out every so often showing small aspects of the ongoing build? I've seen other channels who have long, on-going stop animation projects going do that. Then when completed or finished a section, bring a longer video out. Don't know if that translates to a project like this. I'm happy whenever, but your predicament reminded me of that. 🙂

    • @@TomleyRCI totally understand. I often think on filming but with my limited time for such things I got caught in the process and it's done. My last crawler did take me a week to build. Not that I'm slow but family involved i would say and free time when I'm tired af😅

  • As a scratch builder I can really appreciate the taking of time, some days, weeks, months it just gets a good coat of looking at but it's where my mind wanders and takes me on an adventure just imagining my builds as they are being created👌even if much isn't getting done👍

    • That look coat, is the one that, for me, gives motivation, and brings out the creativity, to help guide you to the finish line, and looking good when you get there. It's a sign of wisdom, knowing how important it is, to just look at what you're doing for a time.

  • Take your time. Anyone who has done any kind of scale modelling or diorama building will fully appreciate that this project is not like your typical RC car that can be finished in a weekend. This kit cost a small fortune and it wouldn't be right to do any less than the best you can with it. If it were mine I'd plan on getting several months of enjoyment out of building and painting it. Looking forward to seeing it when it's done of course, but there's plenty else to watch in the meantime.

  • I'm was not surprised with this video, people do not realize the hours that go into a build like this and this one is an incredible kit. I build sometimes from scratch and it not weeks but months spent working on it. Take your time to get it how you want it and it will look incredible.

I bet I speak for the less douchey section of your subs, when I say, we can wait til you're done, no rush my guy. Thanks for the update, and being candid with us about the timeframe. I feel ya there. • I am not a fan of deadlines and due dates myself, so, for at least one long time subscriber, no pressure here. You run an amazing RC channel, and I enjoy all your videos. You have a lot going on, and that is not small undertaking as far as an RC build goes. I love your Mad Max approach to the paint ideas, if I had any suggestions, it wouldnt be much more than give the guns some muzzle flash discoloration, to stay in theme with your body paint job. Keep up the great work, thanks for the update, and dont let anyone/anything ruin your enjoyment with your hobby. If people want to get impatient, they can get their own!

  • I appreciate the update, really like the idea of the original paint then hitting it with the satin black and giving it a sand down for that sorta patina mad max look. It'd look amazing if it had some battle scars, some war wounds but I also completely understand not wanting to intentionally basically "damage" the body in any way.

  • Nah, mate I knew when you got stuck into this project just how massive a scale this build would be. Honestly, take your time. Yes, people are impatient about needing entertainment but the reality is that this massive thing just has so many parts to glue, paint and assemble that there’s no way to do it all quickly. I enjoy seeing this build and as someone who’s owned trains in the past, the aesthetic of seeing a massive RC with a train cab on it is awesome. But seriously, I can hold out because I know it’ll be that much more awesome when it’s completed.

  • A good tip to remove paint is to use brakefluid, soake it and let sit for a while and then its just to peel/ wipe the color of. If it is a hardbody like 1/18 plasticmodels it works great to remove paint that way, have done it multiple time. If it is a lexan nitrofuel works good tho wipe of paint on bodys.
