Oh, I didn't mean that. I was trying to compliment Supreme Commander. Its design has allowed the graphics used for the game to age very, very well. Nexus: The Jupiter Incident is another example. Like, looking at how old the game is and then looking at what it actually looks like, it blows my mind.

I just finished the regular SupremeCommander campaign, but it doesn't seem like I'll be buying the expansion for a few years yet. Time to watch this, half-forget, and in 2~ years, buy Forged Alliance.

I had the feeling that after building the t3 radar right after landfall radar was no matter any more. Was it destroed? The radar coverage was close to zero in the later game and it felt like acting in the dark. However: Nice game. Thank you, Brnk!

Campaign mod enabler could work for that unnamed faf mod, or you could possibly roll that mod into the campaign balance branch mod (aka the campaign balance)

T3 mex needs a nerf? it costs 4800 to get to in the first place and is a long term goal big bases and to build expensive things.

They don't need a nerf, that is just what happens when you have a huge eco and no build power. This is exactly why targeting build power in the late game is as effective as targeting eco in a lot of cases. Possibly more so.

BRNKoINSANITY targeting buildpower works in every stage, but targeting power works on almost 95% of the players sub 1800 more effectively than targeting buildpower (t3 comm, support comm, etc being able to spam facs so the downtime is 3-4 mins) targeting power is usually the way to go, especially on the airplayer, not many people know the rebuild on broken structures, then reclaim the building in progress for power trick. or they do know it but just dont use it

UEF is a good faction to play as they have those mobile bases with sheilds that can just keep pumping out units as you move forward. Though personally I like the Cybran the most because of the ships they have that can actually walk on land, and are incredibly powerful.

yup ,i did last cybran mision in vanilla by Monkeylords ,Salems(T2 walking destroyers) and Loyalists + little help of Trebuchets ;)

@@vito2320 my strategy during my play through was to rush towards experimental units as quickly as possible with the UEF and get a bunch of the mobile factories, as well as the carrier sub and then just spam tech two units as cannon fodder.

Basic FAF campaign is pretty much easy mode with Cybran or Aeon, mostly because they got SRs and heads of cheese, they are relatively cheap and make things faster. Especially Cybran, since they're red.

It is a stand alone expansion. If you are interested in all the original single player missions, then get both. If you are ok with the patched and updated multiplayer campaign, you can just use the client from FAForever.com and it will unlock all the original factions and allow you to play both campaigns with only the expansion.

im mostly interested in the single player, i saw it on steam going for next to nothing and had to take a look. Much as i love age of empires its never reached the scale ive always wanted. might look at multiplayer later but for now i just want a good series to get into XD Thanks dude, gonna sub and find out what ive missed!!

No, IIRC that only works with light assault bots. The "Ghetto Gunship" it is known as. Otherwise just make gunships. On a side note, if you can make nhe UEF T3 transport, it can do quite a hilarious amount of damage when filled with mech marines.

No, only mech marines, hunters and flares are able to do that. All tech 1 light assault bots, except for the Seraphim tech 1 combat scouts.

@@niko8047 Wait for self-destruct sequence to destroy unit[s], to cancel self-destruction, when units selected for self-destruction Hit Ctrl + K again, you have up to 5 seconds for anything selected to be destroyed, if you have accidentally selected units to self-destruct and if you don't cancel it within the countdown you'll lost it for good and will become wreckage. You cannot self-destruct your ACU while in a campaign operation.

one way to make the Titan vialble could be to give it a rocket pad, so its like a weaker,faster version of the Spearhead that cant get rushed by t1 because its fast

If you have any mods enabled in the FAF client, disable them. They are still hooked to the FA.exe. The reason mine was broken right at the start was that I had left the Notify UI mod on.

I'm having issues with the secondary objective. The one where you have to save the trucks. For some reason i can't seem to be able to click on them. EDIT: Seems you have to click on the special button on the top right to move it. You can't air lift them like in Supreme Commander. Real cheap game developers.

yes, wondered the same. BRNK took care to rebuild the destroyed land factories to get the new ones online fast, but completely ignored the navy factories and build right beside them.

I refuse to believe that BRNK has never watched the intro when you just launch the game :P Acting. EDIT: this was depressing to watch. EDIT EDIT: 40:55 NINJA PERCY! (It was pulled in by the CG, somehow dodged the claw, and landed unscathed behind it)

there is a mod to increase the challenge in this campaign. been playing with it and its awesomely fun since it should bring more entertainment. for example in this mission in the first 5 mins they will send t2 gunships in the dozens. or you can just search online for others. www.moddb.com/mods/forged-alliance-enhanced-campaign-ai/downloads
