In this video I compare two of the most desirable trims of the 2020 Toyota 4Runner, the TRD pro and the TRD off-road premium. Although they are very similar, I think there is a clear winner!

You guys gonna keep your rigs or plan to sell them for a lesser loss? This is a bit contradictory because if you buy it for its reliability it makes sense to want to keep it for 10+ years. So because you won't sell it, all the higher resale value doesn't matter except to brush the owner's ego. And btw, Trail is the base version of the 4Runner as opposed to the OR which is right under the Pro.

    • @@ShogunateDaimyo Yes indeed. I researched repair costs too. Not frequent but not uncommon, the module repair and setting it up after repair usually has to be done at a lexus dealer because a lot of Toyota dealers dont have the special tools. Lexus had sold more vehicle numbers with it and are equipped but expensive. I have not purchased my 4runner yet.. hopefully by end of summer. So watching the trends meanwhile. No KDSS in my future. I'll replace the stock shocks with Bilsteins.

  • My 4Runner TRD Off Road has KDSS, making it MUCH better than the Pro, in my opinion.. My husband just sold his Pro, so I have driven both lol

  • I would not call this a faceoff, maybe a comparison, but zero capability differences were highlighted. Good job with the comparisons.. The KDSS equipped TRD Off Road actually has better highway and dirt road manners that the TRD Pro. But it comes at a costfor vulnerability.

    • Lol, that's only true for the casual two tracker. As soon as someone wants to do moderate or greater trails the first thing that has to go is the KDSS. The Pro with Fox suspension is far superior for the latter. Google is your friend ;)

  • Buy the ORP and put the money saved toward a supercharger.

  • First it’s the 4Runner vs other off roaders. Today, it’s TRD Pro fanboys vs other 4Runner owners.

    • Or the TRD fan boys vs the broke boys who couldn’t afford one lmao you sound like a bitter child, it’s not TRD pro owners faults that your broke.
