  • I loved this film. Just watched it at CUFF - Calgary underground film festival. I thought it was a fun, ridiculous, thrilling, dynamic story. It kept my interest from beginning to end.

  • Went to a surprise screening at Cinemark and this turned out to be the movie. The only time I’ve ever walked out on a film, I just couldn’t stand the frenetic editing and terribly written characters. It really made me want to something subtle like Nightcrawler or Hell or High Water

    • Gangs of London is a hyper-violent British series from Gareth Evans who did The Raid films. Definitely worth the watch, especially that first season!

  • I think you're a little too generous with your score. It's barely 2 couches if that. I chuckled once and I was mostly bored. I love hyper violence when you care about the characters but I didn't in this one. 🤷‍♂️

    • Yeah I don’t think you watched the same movie as us, this film was fantastic! It has prolly the best ending and plus it shits on the ministry of ungentlmently warfare which was utter shit

    • @@abdeladbar1125I had a far better time watching warfare and I think you are severely overrating the movie. The twist makes no sense and ruins part of the build up for one of the characters. Warfare had some very tense scenes and Cavill and Ritchson were far more entertaining than any performance here. Not that the movie sucks I liked a lot of it but I left it feeling very disappointed.

  • Comments say boring, don't care about the characters, which is good b/c this does not sound like a viable violent film that should be made much less seen.Appreciate the review's details. However Boy Kills World sounds utterly appalling and more fodder for a divided angry populace that needs peace not aggravation. Sorry this ever got made. We already have 4 filmic John Wicks, where Keanu Reeves at least comes across as having a caring ethos in there somewhere buried beneath his wife and dog getting killed. I enjoyed those and the first three of the original Matrix series. Violence can be used in service of higher awareness; it's part of the human condition but this sounds dark, heartless and disgustingly brutal in its stylized disregard for real human people and their bodies. Ick. Cringe. Garbage in our minds like this can lead to garbage out in "destroying a person." We do not need films like this Boy Kills World and I hope it fails at box office, and everyone involved finds better future projects. The Fall Guy, on the other hand, sounds like a worthwhile upcoming film for both entertainment and as commentary on humanity, and Dune 2 as a cautionary tale still plays in IMAX. Even Civil War is still playing and has not only realistic (horrific) violence the way it actually affects people (not like video game depersonalized blood-spurting fantasy) but a true message about trying to get along so as to avoid all the killing and maiming. The Bikeriders will be out in June about real-life violence as well as community experienced in biker gangs in the U.S. '60's. Sounds good. People can choose and I hope they vote wisely in how they buy tickets to the better offerings. I saw both Dune 2 and Civil War twice, b/c they're that good and left me better & more aware, not a more traumatized desensitized person ready to engage violence. Boys Kills World as reviewed sounds bad for our collective heart and soul.

    • So an original film with some supreme action choreography, sick violence & great actors and a new story you want to see fail. Yet you need a loosely based remake off an 80s TV show rehashed for the big screen, makes sense... I want to see both but ill take an original film with aubstance and style over a rip off anyday.
