  • What an impressive cover of one of Deep Purple's most memorable iconic hits. Such talent is just unbelievably great. The lady has a fantastic voice, her diction is crystal clear & she sings it with so much passion, emotion & individuality. But if only she did scream like how Deep Purple scream that would have been the icing on the cake.

  • Der Dirigent kann sicherlich sein Orchester dirigieren. Mir erscheint er äußerst unsymphatisch. Er erscheint mir als wolle er nicht den Erfolg des Vokalisten. Und genau der ist stimmgewaltiger, emotionaler und besseer, als das Original. Herzlichen Dank für diese tiefe Show. 💌💌💌

I still don't know where these guys are from, that is an incredible video, I watch it a lot on my big screen, I like this better than the original! What great musicians they are, and that singer, wow fantastic. I see the video was made 7 years, maybe the band is not around any more. Just living off their royalties!

  • This interpretation has a beautiful, melancholy feel. It's certainly quieter than the original masterpiece, as acoustic versions intrinsically are. Like some other commenters here, I was waiting for the characteristic "scream" but it never came. No doubt, our expectations are flavoured by our familiarity of the the original version and so we can't help feeling a bit disappointed. A powerful, desolate scream would have been very effective and would have added a great contrast in this otherwise understated representation. It's a shame they didn't capitalise on it because it sounds like she might have the ability to do it. Gillan is one of those vocalists that has a rather high pitched voice that is relatively easy for women (who can sing) to emulate. Still, kudos for taking on one of the most revered and classic rock tunes ever!

  • We are living in a world where it has long-forgotten the essence of how true music sounds. But thank God I am in the gang of people who think music was born in 1950s, 1960s is its childhood, 1970-80 it enjoyed its youth, 1990 it was so matured and died a painful but sudden death in the late 2000s. I wish I grew up with it! Who else wish here?

  • This has long been a favorite Purple of mine, I just about shit when I saw it here and heard it. This little gang did a great job with it! I love a lot of this obscure stuff one finds on KZhead. KZhead recommended this one to me, they do a great job at that. I've been turned onto a lot of great stuff solely on KZhead's suggestions. This one would make Ritchie and Ian proud. Great tune even with someone else doing it, they did it great justice!
