Be sure to select 1080p playback. Today we look at the Ruger Mark IV Silencer Shop Host edition with a Dead Air Mask HD. We were shooting Fiocchi 40 grain subs and they are extremely quiet. Thanks for watching.
Awesome video! Glad you're liking the SSH and the Mask, that is a great setup. - Chase
Thanks for watching!
Duuude that thing is awesome
Thanks! Its one of my favorites!
Hello. What is the model of your red dot ? Thank you
Hey, its a Trijicon RMR. Specifically the RM06 Type 2
Curious how you modified the ragnarok as well
Thanks for watching. I keep meaning to make a video on it but it is underwhelming haha. Dremel goes BRRRRR.
@@ConcernedCitizen76 There's not a lot of holster options for an MK4, especially with a can on it. I'd appreciate your underwhelming video about it.
Thats very true; alot of people have asked for it now so I will get the camera set up on the bench before long and do a walk through. It was just an afternoon of test fitting and slowly trimming with a Dremel until I achieved a good fit. Then sanded the edges down and it was ready to rock. Now that I have used it more, I can definitively say that when Im running, it has a tendency to fall out. Other than when Im running though, it stays put. But again, this pistol is mostly just for range days and coyote hunting so it doesn’t need a high level of retention like my “duty” set ups do.
How did you get a light on with that gun
Same question🤔
Modification of the mounting plate. I cut the original pic mount piece off the floor plate, measured and then jb welded it where it needed to go to mount where I wanted it. Let it cure before attempting to mount it to the gun of course. I wouldn’t do anything real wild with it but this thing is just a range toy. I will say though, im using a modified trex arms ragnarok holster that holsters just the light and Ive had no issues with it breaking or anything like that.
Ah, JB Weld. Of course! What do you mean by the 'floor plate' though? That would make a great tabletop video, btw. I'm sure most guys who have the ss MkIV would like to mount a light, but I haven't seen much info about it.
@@ConcernedCitizen76would love a video on this. I have an ssh as well and am trying to get a light on so I can use it in my ragnarok
Could you tell me which holster you used?
A modified Ragnarok SD holster from Trex Arms
What optic mount did you use?
Its a Trijicon RMR sitting on a Lobos low profile mount.
How accurate is it out to 25 yards?
Its alright. I should do a video shooting it at different distances. It has a very short barrel and I only shoot subs through it so accuracy was not what I had in mind when I purchased it haha
@ConcernedCitizen76 please do! Can't wait for my mask .22 to get here.
Neither the gun nor suppressor make any ammo subsonic; that a particular round is subsonic lies purely with it's load specs. That said, the suppressor deadens the noise significantly on both sub and supersonic rounds
Barrel lengths can 100% affect whether a round travels sub sonic or super sonic. A great example of this is this specific Mk IV, silencer shops Mk IV only has a 3” barrel so most rounds including supers won’t build enough pressure to break the sound barrier
yeah you are wrong
@@thewadeswilly That is correct!
This gun and the legendary MP5SD beg to differ.
Thanks for watching, Ben. As these guys have pointed out already, your comment is just simply wrong but thats okay, we all end up there at some point haha. Happy shooting 🤘🏼
