Wow! Kick ass review! Thanks for putting a lot of thought and time in to making this review/video. I can't express how well done it is. The review was very educational about not just this suppressor but about suppressors in general. The video was extremely thorough in it's approach to the suppressor. You included the suppressor's installation, use, cleaning, options that come with the suppressor and their use and a multitude of other suppressor related topics. Excellent. If it involves this suppressor and it's use, you covered it. Anyone who has never owned or used a suppressor, much less cleaned one, will learn a lot from watching this video. I know I did. I learned a lot from just one of your videos, and since I enjoy learning, I'll be watching more of them. Consider me subscribed. Thanks for getting me thinking about a lot of different things before I buy a suppressor. I take good care of my guns. Naturally, cleaning them is a huge part of that. It sounds to me like owning/using a suppressor is a high maintenance exercise. I definitely will go through more than 100 rounds at the range. Easily. I like the sound of this suppressor, sounds well made and I imagine it would be useful hunting and in certain other situations. Thanks again. Great video!

I’ve done subsonic and supersonic 300 blackout, 6.5 Grendel and 308 Winchester through it. Great video and thorough discussion. But I'm completely new to suppressors. Shouldn't you mention how well the suppressor actually performed? How well does it actually suppress sound compared to competing products? Thanks!
@XrayDoc883 жыл бұрын
All of the suppressors from Silencer Central reduce the sound to a safe level without hearing protection. so if your hunting, you can hear the sounds in the woods, fire the rifle, and not damage your hearing. What you should know is that they do all the paperwork for you, is very simple, and have a payment plan.

I’d much rather hear you shoot different suppressors side by side testing decibels with a sound meter rather than seeing all the suppressor parts. Just bought the Banish 30 with the trust kit and paid my ATF fee today. I was looking for something to put on my Remington 700 aac-sd 308 and the aac can just had too much of a wait list. After chatting with the rep at the shop I was really impressed with the Banish 30 especially for the self service option alone. It didn’t hurt that they would hold my hand through the ATF maze either. After watching this video series I am even more convinced I made the right choice. You really did a great job breaking down the whole suppressor concept for me and I feel confident that I can do maintenance on it in my humble little shop. Keep up the good work! I am subscribed…

Thank you James for the review. Just as you mention, you like to gain exposure to multiple makes/models of cans/optics/hardware. I am curious what the decibel reduction comparison is between a breakdown model like this, and a non-breakdown model like a Thunderbeast Arms (for example). I am curious whether you have had the opportunity to assess any difference in sound reduction between the two types, or whether the difference is negligible considering the benefit of having a breakdown model. Keep up the good work.
@rahubba14 жыл бұрын
Check out Thunderbeast Ray...might go by TBAC Ray on KZhead. He compares the Bannish 30(formerly known as the Varminter 4.0) against the Thunderbeast suppressors. Pretty sure he uses 6.5 creedmoor for the testing The Thunderbeast wins while using equal lengths. But only by like 2 decibels or something minute like that. Highly doubt your bare ears would know the difference. That difference could potentially be less by using the 6.5mm end-cap on the Bannish 30, as testing was done with standard 30 cal end cap. While the TBAC Ultra suppressors he used were dedicated 6.5mm suppressors. I have the Bannish 30 and have zero complaints about it. I really doubt I’d have any complaints about a TBAC Ultra series suppressor either though. I may be wrong, but I’m pretty sure I remember seeing TBAC claim their suppressors let you maintain the best accuracy, but I’m still holding 1/4 MOA accuracy with the Bannish 30 on the two rifles I’ve developed loads for it with, so no accuracy “loss” complaints here.
@lucass47584 жыл бұрын
Good insights Lucas. Thanks for the reference. I'll check out Ray's comparison. Seems pretty good if you can have a breakdown option that still provides highly competitive suppression and accuracy. Grateful.

I like suppressors that have a 1.75” diameter. The added volume helps provide more sound suppression for any given length. I would much rather have a suppressor that’s 6” long with a 1.75” diameter, instead of a 9” suppressor with a 1.5” diameter, assuming they have the same level of sounds suppression.

Huge noise reduction, big reduction in recoil (although blackout is really light) and in the case of the Grendel; it increased accuracy considerably.
Outstanding demonstration. Thanks!
Excellent review! Thank you!
Great review. I have ran an older version of the Banish, and I have nothing negative to say about it. Great company, great products.
Your video alone made me do 100 push ups and sit ups. Great review too
Awesome job! I can't wait to receive mine.
I've had mine for 3 months and love it! You will not be disappointed!
What calibers do you shoot it on?
@@noneyafuckingbuisness2456 22 rimfire, 5.56/223, 22creedmoor, 6.5 creed
@@blakecallen7968 any negatives you’d say? I’ve got one in ATF concentration camp.
@@noneyafuckingbuisness2456 zero negatives. You will love it.
I havent shot with a suppressor so I appreciate the education O'Neil Ops
It is quite an experience! Hope you get a chance to shoot suppressed this year.
Excellent block of instruction bro
Another great show!
Excellent Information, Well Done Video! Thank You
Great job, Sir.Thank you very much!
excellent presentation!!!! thank you very much
Great review. SC's customer service was fantastic.
Great demo
I love that they also do all the work for you! You just pay and wait.
Just purchased my first can today and this is what I went with… can’t wait to get it! Very informative video, only complaint is that wish you would have entered in some video shooting with the can but still a great video! 🤘🏼
Your content is great.
Convinced, thanks for the video - really well done and entertaining as well. Some of these other "reviewers" miss a lot of detail or good views of things.
Wow James Awesome video! What would you recommend for my first can I don't do mag dumps I shoot for precision. Looking for a can that will handle 22 to 300 WM. I like the fact that can comes with the .224 adapter for 1/2 threads. Primary use would be .224 AR, 6.5 Grendal, and .308. I try to get the good stuff the first time. Do I really need QD when I just shoot at home and the range? Are you a fan of wipes in your cans?
Great video and thorough discussion. But I'm completely new to suppressors. Shouldn't you mention how well the suppressor actually performed? How well does it actually suppress sound compared to competing products? Thanks!
All of the suppressors from Silencer Central reduce the sound to a safe level without hearing protection. so if your hunting, you can hear the sounds in the woods, fire the rifle, and not damage your hearing. What you should know is that they do all the paperwork for you, is very simple, and have a payment plan.
Great information!
I’d much rather hear you shoot different suppressors side by side testing decibels with a sound meter rather than seeing all the suppressor parts. I’d like to see the sound test of different rifles without a suppressor and with a suppressor to see the amount of sound suppression that each suppressor provides.
Great review. Want one for a 5.56 and a pistol.
G W, I just did that same thing. Mailed my fingerprints off yesterday. Hoping I fall into that 90-120 day window of approval.
@@JoshuaTurner-tw5we It took about 411 days for me to be approved with eform 4 with silencer central. Its worth it though!
@@EXACTLYInstrumentals yeah, I did a lot of reading in forums…not many are under 200 days at all.
I just got approved at 292 days, now I’m still waiting for them to send it to me which could be another month 😅
@@OIdGIory It will be another month before its actually in your hands
Good detail on the product, but I would have liked to see you shoot it more and talk about how it stacks up to the dozens of other suppressors you have.
Been waiting a long time for a third party review of this can. Hopefully have mine sometime this summer. 🤞
I bought the banish gold 30, 45 and the .22. After watching this guys guns I think I need to return my cans or start working out.
Hahahahahahah!
By the way I just got mine today, cant wait to use it.
Good insights Lucas. Thanks for the reference. I'll check out Ray's comparison. Seems pretty good if you can have a breakdown option that still provides highly competitive suppression and accuracy. Grateful.
Hello. Excellent and very informative video. I have a Daniel Defense DDM4V7 16” 223/556 and I’m wanting a HD suppressor that is comparable to Surefire because I also want my flash suppressed as well as my sound. Would you recommend Banish 30?? Thank you an thank you for your timely response
Thank you sir.
Regarding the Thread Pitch: 5/8×24 .. is this the standard thread pitch for most rifle barrels? Also, I understand this can accommodate all calibers up to .308, so should I asume I can use this for 22LR, .556/.223 and also 300 AAC Blackout?
cant wait till my comes in great review.
Good review james. On your upcoming videos can you make some regarding clip on thermals. Like the set up on your review.
Yes sir
Great. I've been doing research but one seems to put info the way you guys do.
Is that a thermal clip on or nv, on that revic pmr. I have almost the same exact set up and thougt about getting a thermal clip on. What’s your opinion on it?
A little late to the party but good video. Sold me on the banish 30 and silencer central.
Ha you said every inch counts...... I kno I’m a child lol, great video man.
I've seen alot of videos about these supressors but i have yet to see someone actually shooting with one.. Is it quiet?
Good review. As far as the can covers. Why did they use black straps? The straps should match the snow camo, tan, etc! They probably did it to save an extra few cents which is rediculous!
Have you reviewed the Griffin Bushwacker 46?
Brother you should list what caliber handguns can take 5/8x24 and 1/2x28... That would make this review even pop more
I’m just waiting for mine.
Did you get it? I'm almost at 4 month mark can't wait to get mine.
@@UHK-Reaper I received it around December, and I must say I'm impressed.
Dude has my exact rifle set up. Wonder if he went with the 6.5 or 308

Why can't I find a video demonstrating sound level of the various Banish cal.????
What rifle stock is that directly over his head?

Hey mate, could you let me know what product your using on the walls in your gun room and what brand brackets? Building same thing in new house.

Awesome videos! What's your favorite rifle and round to use for coyote?
22-250
@@ONEILLOPS awesome! So I'm in a no rifle zone lower part of michigan what would you recommend? I've been seeing a ton of coyotes lately.... never seen coyotes like this in this area until this year, CRAZY!
@@D1lazarus1 I will have to look into that, not quite sure... thanks.
Would you recommend this suppressor over the SRT Shadow XL Ti? Looking into getting my first suppressor and it will be going on multiple systems.
I will be doing reviews on the SRT cans soon. I would recommend listening to our podcast we just uploaded yesterday! Or email me for more info oneillops@goldenwest.net
ONEILLOPS I listened to it minutes before you uploaded this one. That’s why I was wondering. I’ll send you an email, thanks 👍
If I have a 12 inch barreled AR pistol in 223 and add a suppressor that makes the total barrel length more than 16 inches is it then legal to install a Stock and would it then be considered legal as an SBR.
Be interested in a comparison in this can to the silencer co 36M. Like to support local South Dakota businesses but if I do invest in a can it will probably be the only one ever own.
If you get one, good luck on not purchasing another 👍🏻
Nice review but did you shoot it? What was the db reduction?
I don't review unless I've used... I don't have a decibel meter and don't intend to get one, some sound louder than others but meter quieter and vice versa.
Is there any reason to ever clean a suppressor? All the numbers I've seen is they outlast the rifle without cleaning. I imagine cleaning doesn't effect function and maybe even provides some sound reduction
Which is better the CGS Helios QD 5.56 or Banish?
Was u in the military
I shot 120 now the 2 baffle module end PC is stuck any advice how to get it unthreaded?
Can you use with a pistol? 9mm?
Love the video, but one of my bugaboos is mis-pronunciations. It's " eTcetera " , not " eKcetera".
How much money would it take to buy a thermal sight that will attach in front of my nf atacr 5-25 and be able to shoot coyotes out to a couple hundred yards and in ? I know there’s a lot to this question but if u could give me a generic quick answer I’d appreciate it!!

Why do you guys use suppressors when hunting coyotes? Just curious
Doesn't startlethe livestock as easily. Also, helps to take follow up shots on other yotes that may around without giving them as much time to react. Notice in the video at the end how the livestock just went about their business.
If I buy one will I get big forearms like his
"every inch counts" ... that's what she said! 🤣
Wil' this work for 308 Winchester and also 300 AAC Blackout?
Yes
will it handle the pressure of the Weatherby 30-378 ???

Thank you! If you guys are ever in the Lewistown area we have a large ranch with tons of coyotes and no one to shoot them
Banish 30 seems like a good suppressor but their Banish Gold suppressor bundle is way over-priced.
Must be awfully sunny indoors, his cap pulled low like that. Is he hiding from someone?
Your mom is stalking him.
Thinking about a can on my 22-250, local gun shop sells Lane suppressors, made in Rapid City, what do you know about them
Lane uses a mono-core baffle. The stacked baffle design of the Banish is quieter and easier to clean.
Accidental do a mag dump lol. Been there
silencer review video with only one shot.... piffft at least one mag dump would be a ++
I'll remember to do that on the next suppressor review man! Thanks for the critique... I'm also working on a hunting production that shows a double using this suppressor in the field that "should" give you something to work with!
@@ONEILLOPS otherwise as others stated nicely done and I wish I could play with half of those toys and get paid to do write ups, hunts and other killer stuff. Always wanted to hunt mountain lions.

Look at this beef cake.. hey you stay away from my girl, buddy😂
Have you seen hunters use .375 H&H magnum or 416 rigby magnum for hunting coyotes?
Absolutely not.
towards the end of the hunt I always shoot the round into the chamber at something, used to do a mag dump last day of deer season but almost got busted by the wardern, so i stopped that as not get busted
These silencer companies are just ripping you off BIG TIME ! In England, you can buy a silencer for 75 euros ($80), walk right out the door with it, and you can get fined if you DON'T use it at certain gun ranges.
It’s the US government unfortunately… Suppressors are controlled items under our National Firearms Act from the early 1900s. They fit categorically with automatic firearms and other device types ie grenades, explosive weapons. Maybe one day we will get it and allow safer firearm operation for all!
I doubt you can even get the titanium for $80, let alone machining costs
They're called "clips" not key holes. Nice review though.
You kinda look like a guy, I really wouldn’t want to piss off. Sure your an incredibly nice guy, but, I bet if I got you mad, I would be mincemeat. Good job great review.
