Regarding Lemon predicting the suicide: it's possible he'd maybe threatened to do just that when he was distressed at earlier occasions, which could be why she also didn't feel the need to follow him up when he was visibly upset. Bliss being the most responsive would also make sense, since if he hadn't interacted with Reeves before, he would have no reason to think the man was "faking" anything and was truly in danger.
Ya she must've been aware that he was suicidal but was clearly dismissal about it and even joked about it until it ended up being real :/
Honestly don't think she predicted anything. I'm pretty sure Toni and her husband had him murdered.

I feel bad for George, he never had a single chance to truly show his full talent and was cut short by horrible people

In the flash movie they also put a CGI cameo of him. They basically gave him one more middle finger in death

I love how the story of him telling the boy that the bullet would hurt bystanders feels like something that would legitimately happen in a Superman comic book.
Apparently Lemmon continued that 'joke' after they heard the shot. She said "See there - I told so!" upon hearing the gunshot, which makes this case even more macabre.

All of them are so suspicious, was the fiancé ever abusive to him? Could explain the bruises and her tantrums and the joking of suicide before he committed suicide?
That’s true. Women can abuse men although men are more often reluctant to report it out of fear of becoming laughingstock’s. And if you take into account what was going on in the 1950s with laws regarding spousal abuse and how the studios worked at the time…yeah I think there’s more to the story.
@@mirandagoldstine8548 In the 1950s women were definitely not abusing men

I would’ve asked each person individually what Reeves was wearing when he went downstairs. If each person had a different story, that would’ve brought up some red flags. I personally believe it was a sex party that went bad.
Thought the same thing as well.
He was raped too by one of the guys..
@@brazil87fullol stfu it lies h would've had it on his autopsy
@@brazil87ful source?
Just as a lil note, if the bullet was found lodged in the ceiling it would've passed through the skull. If you compare the force of an entry wound and an exit wound, keeping in mind the bullet slows as it passes through stuff etc the exit wound has a higher level of force. This is something that is often shown incorrectly in tv series, movies, etc as they have things / people that have been shot move AWAY from the gun with the force of the bullet. Ballistic experts have tested on pig carcasses, which are the closest thing to a human, and every single time the body moves TOWARDS the gun because of the force of the exit wound. So if George Reeves had shot himself with his head on an angle, the bullet lodging in the ceiling, the force of the exit wound would have launched him forward and onto the floor.
But if you’re going away from the gun, like you said, wouldn’t it have launched him back??? I am no detective, but I made a comment kind of explaining on how I could see him launch back instead of forward: If reeves was sitting on the side of the bed, distressed and about to kill himself, he would have been hunched over on his right knee, holding the gun to his head, having his head to the side, and then when shooting, the force would have pushed him back and his hand down, more than likely dropping the gun between his legs. I’m just curious. I don’t 100% believe it was a suicide though, because he was naked and no clothes were reported on the staircase or anywhere in the room. But if it was a suicide or a suicide set up, I can see on how the bullet made it to the ceiling, knocking him back, and dropping the gun between his legs. One thing you did say was the exit wound. I don’t believe they mentioned too much about it (even though I just watched it, I’ll have to go back a little), but they did mention blood on the ceiling, mean it would have HAVE to have gone through his skull. I’m curious to see where you take this…
@@TheMandapanda1205 reread what I said. In tv shows, movies, etc gunshots always portray the person being blown back by the impact. In reality the exit wound is a greater force than the entrance wound. Ballistics tests confirm this. If there’s an exit wound then the person wouldn’t moved towards the gun. The blood on the ceiling is from an exit wound which means he should have been on the floor not the bed if it was self inflicted.

The "he's gonna shoot himself, he's opening the drawer" feels like she was priming them to think suicide instead of murder
Trueeeew
THAT IS ACTUALLY SO SMART
hmmmmmm...
she probably did it and then told the story to the other people downstairs the suic!de story, and since some of them are drunk (assuming due to the appearance of alcohol) it could've led to their only possible answer to the police that would heavily confront the four of them, it was an easy manipulative way to make such ending.

For postmortem: has anyone considered the possibility that they were all having some kind of sex party? It was late at night and it would explain why he was naked, even his strange position. If one of them had some kind of interest in guns it would give context to there being previous gun shots in the floor. Plus since he was previously in a poly relationship, it would make sense that he was in an open/adventurous relationship with his current girlfriend. It would also kind of explain why he was found in a room with no windows. Perhaps there was some kind of accident with the gun and they all put their clothes back on and made up a story to tell the police. I don’t really trust anything that the media said about what had happened, including his ex talking about killing him to a priest.

Close, but I believe it was more of southern Washington woods.
Tai Johnson that’s basically the plot to Gravity Falls.

When there are no cops around, anything is legal!
Another case of “Lapd destroys essential evidence to the case”
I don't think anything will ever be as painful as that scientist for the Amelia Earhart case though, where he examined some bones believed to have been her, then just burned it all in flames, like what the fork, that was our only physical lead lmao
Literally
I loved when he asked Shane if he was at his house when that happened and he just kinda looks away lol
7:18 “I never miss” “Bergara never misses, unless he hunts ghosts” Ryan’s face tho
Post Mortem: BUT THE NAKED PART IS WHAT CONFUSES ME. How quickly did the shot fire after he went up the stairs? Was it long enough for him to get undressed? Where were the discarded clothes? Next to him?? The timeline doesn’t work to me
That’s what’s throwing me too! Maybe he just had on like a robe or something that he could have taken off very quickly?
Like this is so weird.
maybe he was wearing a robe, after all it was 1 am
Maybe the dude who went up stairs took his clothes off and went down stairs😂😂😂
@@astra8065 maybe had a little fun ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Ben Affleck played George Reeves in a movie making him the only actor to play both Batman and Superman.
he’s also daredevil so he’s a blind rich alien
Here's what the movie would've looked like if he'd played both parts: kzhead.info/sun/lNuPfquepHWHpp8/bejne.html
Why did I not know about this movie? I have to see it.
@@DeeVolpe1 I dont remember the name of it. But I enjoyed.
@@big_lolo_01 I looked it up. It's called "Hollywoodland" in case anyone else is wondering. I'm going to look for it to watch tonight. Thanks!
3:48 “hey Jan🤓, someone🥰 told me😘 it’s 🤪your birthday🥳, and I 🤠 wanna say😎, WOW🤩! hope 🤞it’s spooky 👻”
Man don’t end this show it was great watching these and listen to Shane n Ryan play off if each very funny moments keep the show alive
I’m sure that Shaq feels more secure now after Ryan’s promise.
I'm imagining Shaq just sweating profusely up until the last part
Plot twist - it is Shaq who is secretly "shaqing up" with Ryan's girlfriend on the side(So technically Ryan is already sleeping with someone Shaq is currently with😁) If Ryan found out, Shaq is in for a katana slicing.
I have no context for this yet lmao
Haha!
Shane just makes it so enjoyable to watch lol the chemistry is definitely there.
He shot himself standing, not sitting. Right side facing the bed, the shell would be discharged on to the bed before he collapsed on top of it, gun fell straight down out of his hand, coming to rest between his feet.
For PostMortem: The porch light seems like a signal that George was home. Lemmon was the one who switched it on, seems like she sent a signal to someone. Also she just kept saying "He is gonna shoot himself, he is getting his gun" seems like she is reiterating to the visitors that it is suicide and she has no hand in his death. Also, even if she knew he was gonna take his own life, why would she specifically think he was gonna use a Gun? It is like one of those suspect confessions, when suspect goes like "Moreover I don't own a 9mm German Luger" when Police never mentioned the cause of death.
She knew the gun was in the draw and they hired the draw open
@@lewisgg1234 dude what? Haha

I feel like the answer gets turned into this mysterious mystical thing because it could just be hard for some to understand why anybody famous would just off them self. Regular people do it everyday, so it’s not that far off to hypothesize that being famous but not having any money to show for it could have added to putting a gun to his head. Especially if the studio knew he was struggling with being an alcoholic. The fact humans can’t know what somebody else is thinking sucks because now his death is left to speculation. Who knows if it was a conspiracy or somebody who truly was suicidal. Somebody suicidal isn’t going to go and tell the whole world “ hey, I want to off myself”. Usually people open up after the thoughts have subsided and you can think clearly but nobody is going to admit something is going on, I doubt they were aware or cared about mental health in the 50-60s.
@@theonlyjuan9836 I agree......but homie wasnaked. That doesn't really align with suicide.
I would watch a series of Shane and Ryan learning how to tap dance. BUT only on their channel Watcher
yes please!
Same
Watching this again, I realized something. Perhaps Lemmon was in on it and that's why she "narrated" what was going on so that the suicide would seem more believable to the others in the room.
Imagine your fianceè being like "my husbands going to kill himself, oh! He is opening the drawer to get the gun right now!" I would be scared for my life and of that women WTH MAN
Y’all are shamefully not recognizing the obvious culprit here, it was the child who tried to shoot him at that wrestling match🙄
Yes children are murderers they deserve jail time for life.
ACAB All children are bad
this is EXACTLY what i was thinking. he had to get him alone so the bullet wouldnt hit anyone else, duh.
@@annaharbert527 right and he stripped him naked to see if it worked. He realized he freaking killed him and got away quickly (I know it’s a stretch pls)

Please don’t ever stop making Ryan and Shane content. They’re literally carrying this entire account.
They have their own channel called Watcher. This was their last season with buzzfeed😅

"Bridge owner" Shane isn't about to let his feud with Wikipedia go, is he?😂
@@quinnquinnquinn12312 In the Unsolved about the Goatman, they visit the Old Alton Bridge. This bridge is also referred to as 'Goatman's bridge', but Shane said that if the Goatman didn't stop him, the bridge would become *his* bridge. Needless to say, nothing happened and Shane proclaimed Ryan and himself as the rightful owners. Wikipedia, on the other hand, refused to allow changes to the page and the Old Alton Bridge is still 'Goatmans bridge' and Shane is not having it😂 (It even went so far that they locked the page because too many people kept changing the name to 'Shane and Ryan's bridge)
