Before we begin the rant, I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude for watching this video and giving it a chance. So, thank you very much! My thoughts on the Duelist Cup are that it's definitely the most grinding I've experienced in any game I've played. What I've come to realize about myself is that I still lack the stamina to play for 12-16 hours straight. There have been numerous times when I've lost because I went on autopilot and wasn't fully aware of the situation of the duel after grinding for many hours, leading to a lower quality of duels than usual. However, this Duelist Cup experience has really opened my eyes to my own weaknesses, and I hope to fix them so I can become a better duelist. I need to take a breath and think my decisions through thoroughly in every duel, even if I'm grinding for 12 hours. Now, let's talk about how bricky the HERO deck was... HERO is well-known for how bricky it can be, with many garnets in the deck. But let me tell you, it's not the deck's fault, it's the Master Duel Shuffler's fault for being PURE EVIL. I've tried many HERO deck variants in this Duelist Cup-40, 45, 50, 55, 60-card decks-and all of them had moments of bricking. It doesn't matter what HERO variant you play, the MD Shuffler will mess you up because of how PURE EVIL it is. In the end, I've reverted back to a 41-card deck because I really need to draw the outs, haha. So, yeah, that's all about it. You might think that I hate Yu-Gi-Oh! right now, but actually, this Duelist Cup has opened my eyes to how vast this world is, and I've enjoyed every duel I've had in the Duelist Cup. In fact, I was feeling really burned out early in the season and only started grinding for Master 1 on March 15th. But this Duelist Cup has reminded me why I love Yu-Gi-Oh! so much, the feeling of winning through Maxx "C" challenges, the excitement of clearing the whole field and winning,the feeling of losing if you did 1 small mistake, it's a beautiful feeling, and I'm so happy I've been playing this game for 13 years, hahaha. So yeah, I need to train more and be more disciplined for the next Duelist Cup.
You’re right about the shuffler man. It’s definitely not 100% random.
Had similar experiences with Generaiders. They are borderline unplayable in master duel, but in real life locals it's like night and day. Also despite being every deck at 3 at my locals I'm seeing a lot less ash/imperms as well. Seems like MD has some sort of hand fixing to counteract BO1.
