  • Been to the Glow Worm Caves. In 2018 after it was ravaged by floods. Was so beautiful, even with far fewer worms. You can do a group boat tour in the main chamber, but tip: Do the other tour, too. They give you a donut and you float around and climb through caves. One of the most memorable experiences of my life. At times, you're floating on your donut down a narrow river, walls to either side that disappear up into the darkness. And all you see are the people behind you and in front of you, in as much awe as you are. And the field of blue lights above you that look like you're peering into the galaxy. It's life-changing. I cannot recommend it enough.

The Australian Aborigines have been on the planet for over sixty thousand years and when the British invaded their land only 200 years ago, they took from the Aborigines a pristine bountiful country. And I know it’s happened in other lands too. What’s evil is when the Industrial Age arrived. • Yes, it is painful how our species is destroying the planet. The human race has caused the loss of 83 percent of all wild animals and 50 percent of all plants. One number one cause is factory farming: 60% of all animals are farmed animals, 30% humans and just 4 % wild animals. Our lust for animal products is destroying the ecosystems and cause so tremendous sufering. Cannot understand the unwillingness to change comsumption habits. Even better for one's own health.

  • My state Michigan has the Upper Peninsula, which is a phenomenon in itself. I like to travel to the UP when I can. (I live in Saginaw, in the middle of the lower peninsula which is a part of mid-Michigan along with Bay City and Midland). The Pictured Rocks is one of the most beautiful natural wonders that I have ever seen. You have to take a boat tour to see the rocks but they are worth it. You can also kayak as well. The Pictured Rocks are on the shores of frigid Lake Superior which is not only the coldest and most dangerous of the Great Lakes but also in the world. When I was on that boat tour the guide stated that we we were over some of the deepest and coldest areas of the Great Lakes. Michigan is a beautiful and fascinating state, especially the UP. You definitely need to see The Pictured Rocks. It is an awesome experience.
