@@donovanrieman3592 there wasn’t really a meta back then. With the few cards available, every deck was pretty unique (all things considered), which allowed more of an element of surprise.

I dont play clash royale as much anymore. My only thoughts is maybe deck cool downs. You can make 5 of them why not make people rotate through them. Or even card cool downs so that you cant use the same cards all the time. Yes some people over leveled certain cards to get to higher trophies but variety is needed. My favorite part about the game right now is the the party mode when you have to choose random cards to play with.
I'll always watch your vids but yeah I haven't played royale in like 3 weeks just because it got so boring. I truly hope they do something I loved the game so much

I pick up afk arena last year cause my frustration with Drew and his killing my decks and letting card that are completely op continue to ruin the game. Im trying for the sake of his replacement to hang in there but I feel like its too late. Love the recent balance changes but I literally set with empty slots now saying I dont even want to play anymore
This is more tragic for Molt , as he is one of the people who have seen the game from it's rise . He was an alpha tester of the game.

Molt is 100% right about this game. Its frustrating and the game feels stale
I have a very good idea that would make the game way better. Hard to explain but it like that card get different buffs and nerfs when paired in a deck. This would make some decks just unplayable which would make it better. Ex: log bait, goblins and gob barrel nerf if they are together the attack speed or healt would be less. This would be a lot of work but would make the game so much more interesting

Well Molt... the reason so many people play log bait is because it relatively easy and fun to play. I mean I hate facing several same decks in a row, but I don't think that is what makes the game bad or sad. You actually play a ton of log/arrow bait too in your other videos too. They don't play log bait cuz they wanna trigger you, it's cuz they wanna have fun and win.
Molt I couldn’t agree more brother, been playing for 4 years now and i swear no matter how many new cards they introduce, nothing changes to the repetitive old decks that never go away and are just making the game flat out boring. It honestly feels like supercell doesn’t listen to player feedback.

Update: I quit the game after 4+ years because I played 20 games today and: 7 Logbait. SEVEN. 5 Hog Cycle. 4 Mega Knight Skelton barrel. 3 Golem Nightwitch. And then 1 Royal Giant If I get excited to see an RG because it’s different... there’s a PROBLEM. I tried to make it work, I really love this game. But I refuse to play this game that strives on diversity if it’s the same stuff all the time. Regardless of wether or not I win (I use giant sparky), it’s simply not fun anymore.
I have a log bait deck I use oops. Mine is off meta though but still works. It is: princess, gob barrel, pekka, zap, gob gang, royal ghost, valkyrie, musketeer

I 100% agree with you. I am tired of going against the same deck over and over again. We need to see a wider variety of decks and absolutely new way to play the game like how Clash of Clans introduced the builder base over 3 years ago. Moly I have an insane amount of respect for you that you’ve stuck with the game this long and would be very disappointed if you leave but I will understand completely if you do. I don’t have faith that things are getting better.
Just yesterday I played against the same deck four times in a row some times 3 our 2 .. its just stupid
Molt you should really switch over to Brawl stars. The constant change of maps and the option to choose different modes means you will usually play different brawlers every game - And even then, the strategies for those brawlers vary so much depending on the player, unlike Clash royale where optimal usage means the same placements over and over again...I know you used to do it before, and it may take some time, but I think Brawl Stars could be a solid base to rebuild this channel again

yeah the game is beyond stagnant now, I ‘quit’ months ago (still log on once in a while for 2v2 challenges and stuff). I got so sick of just seeing hog cycle, log bait, and ice bow over and over.

The problem is the algorythm used for matchmaking not the decks. There are tons of decks being used (some very unique) but the matchmaking will put me against 4 golem decks in a row...
