Everyone assumed Lisa was flown privetly to film this video but she herself said she was photo bombed into the group dance. As for everything else she did in YG studio's Also the YGX dancer's were her Idea as to ad more umph to the video.

Actually Lisa for some reason wasn't able to go to the US so they filmed separately and just edited it together....She did go to France but also didn't do any filming or fashion shows so....yeah idk
During the time period of the filming the US was under strict travel restrictions and that is why Lisa was not able to be with them per DJ Snake
@@musicislife4527 that's so weird tho because Jennie and Rosé went together just before and Jennie has now gone again so why was it just specifically Lisa who couldn't go....they could've waited to film after the restrictions were let down. Or have Lisa go with Jennie and Rosé before. I blame the management 🤷♀️
@@janemay6955 when Jennie and Rosé went to the US the filming of the video segments for SG were already completed during the period that none of them could have traveled to the US. Not a YG decision but a US gov. decision. The final video was completed quite some time ago. DJ Snake purposely held back the release until after Lisa's solo debut out of respect to Lisa.

@@musicislife4527 Didn't he say in August or September that they plan to shoot the SG video, though? America wasn't "closed" then. And it's not like he held back. His plan was to release the collab in June because it's a summer bop. YG did not allow him to do that. The "respect" is YG wanting to get as much money as possible from Lisa's solo so they made sure to release it before the collab.

You summed up my thoughts perfectly.
I agree the song could have alternating parts from the beginning, but maybe you're being a bit too harsh towards the other two musicians. Megan's verse was short but cool and memorable. Ozuna was in his element despite the repetitive lines. They all fit the song surprisingly well. As to dance, Snake made the right decision: giving all parts to the only real dancer, i.e. Lisa, because she is the show, while not treating his and Ozuna's steps too seriously. If only Lisa got this kind of treatment in Blackpink...
