Lori Piestewa is believed to be the first Native American woman killed in action in the Iraq War. She left behind her two children, that is taken care of by her parents. Lori's only wish was to build a house for her family to all live together.
The team not only built the new home but also built a Veterans Affairs building dedicated as a meeting place for Native American veterans in the area.

Always Remembered, Never Forgotten with Dignity, Pride, Integrity, Respect and Honor. From the daughter of a Canadian Military Veteran of 22 years who served during the Cold War. And a Retired Paramedic in Ontario, Canada, Jenn. 💖 🇨🇦 🇺🇸

I do not know why this show stopped but all these home builders and design teams have blessed so many people. These shows are filled with love tears and laughter. All these people who have blessed so many people will have those blessings come back to them 1oo fold. I am blessed and inspired just by watching these shows. So thank you for allowing all of us to be able to watch these shows.
i'm not even from america but i'm totally suprised that this vid has'nt got the recognition it deserves. it was a very deserving gift to this family who's daughter gave her life for her country and its kinda sad that america has'nt jumped all over this. i'm not sure if its because she was an indigenous american and ppl still have miss feelings toward those ppl of if its cos they generally just dont care. as an indigenous Australian it makes me sad not to see other first nation ppls get the reconition they deserve. this was a very heart warming vid and im so glad i clicked on it.
made with love through and through ...made me cry...greetings from Germany.

Another amazing job EHME Team. God bless you always. How i wish our bouse will have a make over. my 2 girls to have their own rooms.
Thank you for your service iam sure women of the military are very tough I cannot imagine what they go through great respect to those men and we men thank you 🇬🇧🇺🇸
Absolutely beautiful ❤️ my only suggestion for these Makeovers with older people is to make these homes fully wheelchair accessible 🇦🇺
Having watched part 1 and part 2 back to back , a beautiful and very real story , so glad the soldiers honour pacts , from the start , little Carla was the star of the story , she , in her innocence told more of her mom than everything else , I wish other countries looked after their war vets like USA does , here in South Africa , you are looked at as a curse and completely ignored , especially SADF era vets .
Thank you EMHE. Your are so passionate about doing this. It is what drives you to help those you have helped and made lives better for them. Just cant stop watching your videos...God bless you guys.
Such a beautiful episode, makes the heart happy!😊
