  • I liked how Grace and Alex had the worst relationship of any couple in the movie. Everyone else, even Daniel and Charity who did not remotely love each other, respected their partner enough to explain the stakes of joining the family and the game before hand. Only Alex was selfish enough to not even let Grace know and make her own informed choice.

  • I don't know how, but Ready or Not I think became my favorite movie of the year. EVERY character is fleshed out, even Charity who just seems like a grounded and strict girl. It's the funniest movie of the year, with excellent shots!

    • It was the deaths and that Grace was gonna leave him for good if she escaped, she was already pissed about him not telling her that his family might kill her. If he could not have her, he'd kill her first and save his family.

    • i believe Alex turned because he is selfish (as shown when telling Grace "IF i told you you would've left) and he believes the curse could be real so seeing all Grace has done and knowing someone has to die to appease LeBail, he chooses to save his remaining family and sacrifice Grace, knowing she would leave whether he survived or not.

  • honestly think daniel would’ve lived. do y’all remember when alex says “but i changed because of you right?!” and he doesn’t explode until after she says she wants a divorce? if daniel hadn’t been shot, he would’ve been a changed man and most likely lived. i think this is due to helping the hider, you technically also become the hider.

I seem to recall hearing an old song specifically about hide and seek not too long before I saw this movie, because I remember thinking it seemed kinda hokey and unnecessary to have a song like that. I know there are several other songs called Hide and Seek but if my memory is correct I heard one that sounded really old like this one.

  • I really like the song but it's extremely scary because yesterday at midnight we were playing hide and seek in a huge house like the house. Then I looked, unfortunately there were 17 people there. I wanted to scare everyone and turned on the music Just several times when I heard a noise I ran into the kitchen and looked for a knife to scare everyone. When I went to a children's room I somehow heard a child laughing and I was really scared because I was running around with a flashlight When the time was over everyone had to come outside. At first there was no one there and I started to cry. But then they came. The music was already over when I said where were you? She said we were kidding them because we were there the whole time outside and then I said so I was all alone in there and they said yes then I said but but I heard a kindergarten in the children's room and then they all looked at me funny and they asked Did you have a toy gun with you and I said No, then the music started again, only louder, me WHO IS THERE, then most people said I was going home, then me and my best friend were alone. We wanted to know what was there, I went ahead and went into the kitchen, she cried extremely and said I'm sorry it's too much for me I'm leaving I went to the room where the music was turned on and screamed GET AWAY FROM ME it was 3am I ran as fast as I could with a knife in my hand I cried and accidentally hit myself hurt I screamed I screamed as loud as I could I ran into a car and saw a person who told me behind you I looked behind it was a person dressed in black I stabbed it and it was a person He said So why are you all doing this People came out with a giggle and said it was all a prank we wanted to scare you because it was your birthday I was 12 I was traumatized very bad but the problem was I said but I stabbed the person And they said WHAT I thought it was a murderer they took him to the hospital luckily I stabbed him in the hand but then I did therapy and it was really a fucking horror for me please take care people.
