I remember the days where people would quite frequently use pump as a defensive building. I really wonder what the next tower troops will be like.
Honestly I would bring back that version of the pump. +2 elixir (iirc), more tanky so that you could actually use it on defense. It gave the card a more diverse purpose. Now it’s just a braindead choice

@@thevigilmain6628 if youre running cannoner elixir pump can be a 4 elixir defense building against a lot of cards, all the giants, golem, and some other slow tanks. full counters all of them cause of the mile long sight range

Fr i used to have a 14% win rate with elixir pump in my deck but this play has gotten me that 110%win rate

Istg if they nerf it, they nerf it,the pump is a decent card, like pump is mostly used in beat down but the dagger duchess literally kills miner with a single burst of knives in my opinion just rework the duchess to deal less damage in total but give it more knives

Hey boss can you make a tierlist of card based on how level dependent they are? Like how many interactions change if they are over or underleveled? Like we all know things like rage, freeze, pump, inferno tower are quite level independent while something like goblin barrel or minions die much quicker to tower when -1 level so can you make a tierlist ranking them based know how level dependent they are? @Boss_CR, I countered every deck using the following Evo Battle Ram, Firecracker, Monk, Ice Golem, all 3 spirits and Hunter Elixir cost is 2.6 and it works like hog cycle without spells and it's absolutely broken, only thing that counters this fully is if the enemy is playing princess and heavy spell use which is rare in top ladder edit: it works a lot better against dagger dutchess and cannoneer, it will struggle slightly against standard princess tower

the issue with this new meta for me is that, as a F2P player, its so hard to get accostumed to the new meta, especially since im so used to playing cycle decks because that how it was for the longest time. Now, while I used to love lava hound, having an underleveled lavahound deck is sad
same, my first deck had lava hound and it’s nice to see it come back, but man it’s so underleveled

Dagger duchess is the reason Pump is broken. Nerf the duchess and things will get normal.

@@Destroy-xk8pp earthquake + mirror eqarthquake is the only real counter in this deck. since u have to keep in mind that if they ever get an elxier advantage over u in the match and place xbow while u only have 4 elixer no way your destroying it (without eqarthquake) unless with a lucky exe

With this game there are 3 cards i feel dont belong in clash royale. Mirror, freeze and pump. All 3 cards are just poorly designed and lead into uninteractive gameplay. These cards honeslty should just be deleted. They were made at a time when the devs didnt know what the game would be like.
Mirror and freeze are useless anyway so it’s as if they don’t exist already. I think they’re ok, considering they’re basically only used to troll. But I agree with pump

Duchess shuts down attacks quickly for better pump protection.
it has always been broken in elixir x2 or x3 (when there is less than 1 min) but in single elixir, you had to take a risk because it's six elixir. And the duchess happens to shine in single elixir, so they have a great synergy

i love you boss, but its kinda annoying that every time beatdown gets some love (i know that in this video boss is playing xbow) it is called broken and no skill when we have the same hog and miner decks since 6 years ago and drill is one of the most common and toxic/easiest decks to use right now. i mean, pump is not a broken card, it´s just good in this meta because it got a bit more versatility because of the weakness of the duchess against big pushes and elixir advantage. golem, lava, even elixir golem (toxic af but has a lot of really bad matches), sparky, 3m decks, etc, has a LOT of hard counters and almost all of them are cycle decks. cycle is toxic because you put the most broken and no skill cards in a 2.5 elixir average deck to spam them through the whole game and call that skilled XD
Boss with all that pumping from the underground clash realm you will end up destroying our resources 😔
