This very well could have easily been another a high scoring classic game but two picks and multiple wasted red zone trips is what did them in. When it boils down to it, Clemson simply played and coached like they wanted it more and was the better team that night.

As an Alabama fan, Dabo has such a fun way of coaching while nick is so serious. Nick makes the team feel like they have to win the championship and that’s their only goal while Dabo makes his team feel like they should have fun and just get better. @James Kirk Something that you don't realize is that Dabo can be a ball buster also, but he generally does not do that unless the situation calls for it. He does have some strick guidelines that he expects the players to abide by and can come down like a hammer if a player tries to play fast and loose with them.

Have been a Clemson fan since 1977. Started to follow them in my last year of high school. Clemson is my late father's school, he passed away in November 2017. Have followed the Tigers for over 40 years. Was ecstatic when they beat Alabama this past January for the school's third national title. Thought that Clemson could win, but not by the margin that they did. Watching these highlights really showed how good they were this past season. Thank you for sharing this video. Go Tigers!

@@Merino33 Regardless, they beat No. 3 Notre Dame 30-3 and No. 1 Alabama 44-16 in the BCS semis and Championship. I think they more than proved themselves there to be one of the best teams ever. And I'm a West Coast guy so not at all partial to any of these teams.

@@sckidneydoc My main objection to that is they'd likely have to give up the rivalry games with the likes of USC and Stanford. I don't know how joining the ACC would affect the Navy game, but after Navy kept ND afloat during WWII by picking South Bend as the site for the V12 Navy College Training Program, that's a game that CAN'T go away.

I will never forget the look on Brian Kelly's face in 2015 when he walked out onto the field and watched in absolute horror as Clemson touched the rock and ran down the hill. He was absolutely frightened and you could tell he was actually shook.

The worst call Lincoln Riley made this season was letting go of Mike Stoops in the middle of season. The defense went from bad to worst after McNeill took over. If Mike Stoops stayed until the end of the season, I think the defense would have played better.

I only have one wish. Last play of the game pass to Hunter Renfrow in the back corner of the end zone for a touchdown. Not for points, but for his last play in a Clemson Tiger uniform to be a fitting end for one of the greatest undersized walk-on to play for the tigers. He sure has meant a lot to the program.
