It can't be concidence with release backlogs and such when similar povs come out at the same time, so I think we can trust that they have good communication for things like that.

I've built this (or a close variation) Zombie Pigman farm on my survival server, and use it primarily for XP. I will admit, however, that it does a fairly good job of getting gold. I also built a sorting system that selects gold bars, gold nuggets, and sends the gold swords to the end, where they are smelted into nuggets, which are sent back to the nugget chest, so it gets everything. I had to add sorting for chicken and feathers (from pigmen jockies), and arrows (no idea why those were showing up), and rotten flesh (which I just sent into a lava block). Very powerful.
Holly shit, I clicked on this thinking it was a new episode of season 8, after seeing the title I was all like "Ah, Iskall is at it again with the gold farm!" Nope, just didn't see the 7 in the title. Got to where he was laying out the diamond ore in that cool mineshaft starter base! Can't believe I didn't know until two minutes in, aaaa lmao.

have a suggestion for the diamonds. it would the hermit death fund. when a hermit dies with diamond gear and it desonps or bruns in lava they tally up the diamonds worth they lost cut it in half and take the amout from the pile.

I made the same gold farm. My fix for the item distribution was three hoppers flower pots on outside two rail in center two hopper minecarts walk into it. It pushes them apart a little. Remove rail push block into the center space with a piston and then you can place your rail and 24 minecarts in that one space. The two hopper minecarts will pick up any drops on that space and send them on their way to the three hoppers. Note not all three will be used if the item drop speed is not high enough but when you turn the farm on it will use all three
I'm thinking about what i'd do to decorate the tree if it were real, and I think texturing with gravel, coarse dirt (so it doesn't turn green) and green "plants" like grass, leaves, vines, ect. would make the roots look established and natural, as well as giving you something to work with. I like working with plants in real life, (though, i do aquascaping so my knowledge regarding non-submersible plants are limited) but if you'd really like some professional inspiration, I suggest watching videos from SerpaDesign to get a feel for how you'd want the decorating to turn out
