Ok that was a swerve! 😮 We thought that leech Don Callis was going to recruit Trent to his family but instead chose Orange Cassidy 😮😨!??? Not that I'm for it but Cassidy going to the evil side could be very interesting.....
It really doesn't make a lot of sense given Trent is more of a tag wrestler than O is. But I feel like maybe he already has Trent in his pocket and this is to lure Cassidy into a false sense of security.

Kinda reminds me of when Hulk Hogan turned Heel, at Bash At The Beach, on July 7th, 1996....and, along with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, formed the nWo. That threesome revolutionized Wrestling! A lot of the Wrestlers, for instance, dropped all of the Flashy Wrestling Garb that they'd been wearing...and began dressing up in more sensible Wrestling Gear. Some even switched over to just wearing Blue Jeans, and darker colored, more sensible footwear. Even Sting eventually switched over to basic Black-And-White Wrestling Gear, right down to the Facepaint! From sometime in June 1996-April 1998, WCW got on top of the ratings war against the Then-WWF!
I think this is a double turn where Trent becomes Face once Chucky T joins again & OC joins the Family. I wouldn't be shocked to see a Heel OC run because his face run has gone stale now let's be honest

I like OC from the start, i miss his old character, cool, full of action yet entertaining and effortlessly charismatic. I noticed recently, he's sometimes boring, except his tag match with Shibata recently where he was so energetic.

This was probably Trent's plan all along, guilt tripping Cassidy into blaming himself for Chuck injury. And then Orange falling for Callis manipulations and joining his family.
Maybe next week the Trent and OC match may have some screwy finish or no contest and we get the rematch at Double or Nothing, with some stipulation.

The more I think about it, having finally got to say shit on National TV, and having a bloody brawl with his best friend and tag partner for over a decade. That probably is the best send off for Chuck Taylor. I'm heartbroken because I've always been a fan, but if that's how he goes, then it's a good way to ride off into the sunset.
