BREAKING: Three arrested in counter terror raids in Greater Manchester
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences following police raids across Greater Manchester.
Warrants were executed at four properties in Bolton, Greater Lever, Abram and Hindley in Wigan on Wednesday night (May 8).
The three men - aged 35, 36 and 51 - were arrested at separate locations on suspicion of commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism.
They were all taken into custody to be quizzed by detectives from Greater Manchester Police. This morning, a number of police scenes are in place across four locations.
