"The UK CAN'T Just House The World!" - Conservative MP On Labour's Illegal Immigration Plan
Talk’s Peter Cardwell is joined by Tory MP Henry Smith, who says the UK “can’t just house the world” whenever a conflict occurs around the globe.
“This country has a long history of being very welcoming, but what we can’t have is illegal migration.”
Speaking in Deal, Kent, on Friday, Sir Keir said a Labour government would expand counter-terror powers to cover people-smuggling gangs and create a new Border Security Command to co-ordinate efforts to halt the crossings.
His comments came as figures showed more than 9,000 migrants have arrived in the UK after crossing the Channel so far this year.
In a message to smuggling gangs, he said: “These shores will become hostile territory for you - we will find you. We will stop you. We will protect your victims with the Border Security Command. We will secure Britain’s borders.”

I may be wide of the mark, but, I believe this may largely be down to the weaponisation of migration by countries hostile to the West/NATO. If this is the truth behind what’s going on in the channel and elsewhere, no mainstream politician here could admit this publicly (it would be tantamount to admitting we are at war). So that’s perhaps why the politicians and mainstream media in this country use the euphemism “asylum seekers” for these people crossing the channel.

Since hearing of the RNLI participating, I have ceased giving. The most appalling thing is, that the taxpayers are contributing to the RNLI for picking up the illegals. When will this stop.

They're not asylum seekers once they set off in boats from France, let alone when they arrive here, since all asylum claims need by law to be made from another country, with the applicant waiting in that other country to learn the outcome. By setting off in small boats and arriving here by force they make themselves illegal immigrants, a wording that doesn't even seem to be allowed any longer.

I can’t help thinking that in large part what’s going on in the channel is part of a wider process of migration being weaponised by countries hostile to the West/NATO. The same thing happened on the Finland/Russia border and Belarus/Poland border.

These arrivals by boat are given new identities they have no papers passport and they give fake names etc. They are not vetted at all as there is no way to. Once given right to remain they are given priority housing, full benefits ,priority NHS treatment with no need to work and also will get full pension,. I'd like to know if there is a 'think tank' out there somewhere that has any idea when a tipping point in respect of numbers of immigrants will be reached and what will happen after that tipping point has occurred. There seems to be plenty of experts in other fields but a deafening silence on this topic.

Your comment reminds me of something I have posted in the past. In the not too distant future people smugglers will be earning large sums of money smuggling the indigenous population of the UK out of the UK. Who wants to be a 2nd class citizen in their own country, or worse a slave. Oh to work a 60 hour week for a loaf of bread and a cup of water whilst the new masters sit at home doing nothing. It feels like that now, but I'm sure as the demographics change and the indigenous population gets smaller as a percentage of the total population that things will get worse and worse. God save the UK, because the British government certainly don't seem bothered about doing anything to save us.
The reason this is happening, is the empty Africa and the Middle East, then go in and take the lot. Even the USA is flying out plane loads, so they can get in on the action. Lure them out with free stuff. Its working perfectly!
