That's incorrect. Under federal law she actually does have the right to make this decision. Now while her parents also have to give their okay the little girl has her own rights. A child cannot have surgery done on themselves unless the doctor asks the child for permission as well as his parents. Parents cannot forcibly give a child surgery

Respectfully, it's not about nuance. Swallwell took a tweet and then, as usual, interpreted it to what he says it means. You can disagree with someone's statement, even consider it a lie but to then say what that person "really" meant is absurd. The Democrats have done that repeatedly, even when called out for their own tweets that had no factual basis. As others have pointed out here, the person calling Jim Jordan a liar has been called out repeatedly for his and been found to be compromised by a Chinese spy yet STILL has positions on committees that put American interests and security at risk?

Jim Jordan made that tweet based upon the Ohio AG stating there was no such case. Social Services, hospitals, etc. - - - no one had any information. We know now it's, at least in part true and it's at least a two week old case the Ohio legal system is aware of. Furthermore, the 10 year old left Ohio to get an abortion but she did not have to. Under those circumstances, it is legal in Ohio just as it is in all 50 states. We learn new details everyday and some of those details prove previous 'details' were false. However, many of those statements came from Ohio public officials. Besides, didn't Swalwell sleep with a Chinese spy?

This wasn't an abortion. If its done for medical reasons it is not considered abortion and she did not have to leave Ohio to have this done. The Ohio AG has already came out and verified this fact.

It's actually the other way round. Republicans claim that women will have late terms abortions right up to birth when even Roe v Wade said that abortions were illegal when the fetus was viable. The Repulican misinformation is designed to shock people into thinking that women will murder babies. The truth is that most so-called abortions occur using the pill or quite early in pregnancy. That makes sense because women in that circumstance will try to get an abortion as soon as they realise they are pregnant. It's the same with guns, all GOP talking points.

There are medical exceptions for that law. Look it up.

And lastly, a 10 year old is not meant to give birth to a child - quite the medical risk - meaning an abortion (if that’s what it needs to be called) is protected by Ohio law. The issue with that story we’ve all been hearing about is that the parents didn’t tell anyone in Ohio about the daughters pregnancy, or rather they Ohio isn’t the one telling them to cross state lines to get an abortion. Instead this was done because of ignorance of the laws of the state, and perhaps to protect the legal status of the rapist.
