I like how the girl in the well wasn't just a tragic victim. She seized the first opportunity to get an upper hand by holding Bill's dog hostage.
It would have SUCKED if her plan failed though
@homelesshannah50 not any worse than her current situation

I like that Hannibal is just chilling in Jamaica, he’s like “hey, I’m just checking on you. Anyways I’m going to eat this guy, later.”
Goes to show just how cunning and intelligent he truly is. All it took as one pen and he was able to pick his cuffs, kill multiple police officers, escape custody, and flee the country. He is the embodiment of the quote "Appear strong when you are weak and appear weak when you are strong.".
Yeah, like any typical cannibal
Fun fact from a Pittsburgh native, the scene of Hannibal Lecter killing all those cops was actually shot in the same building where my high school used to have its prom, making what Lecter did only the second most horrifying event in that building's history.
what was the most horrible?
What The fuck was the first
@@MikeH1the prom, presumably
@@moosicisthegood oh that must have been where Carrie took place

Fun Fact: Hannibal's iconic line "I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti." is a secret confession he's not taking his medications. All three of those things react very poorly to the medicine he's supposed to be taking.
In other words he want to be like this
This is completely false. It's some bullshit made up on the internet that people need to stop spreading. Lecter wouldn't be on MAOIs in the first place.
That's really interesting I never knew that
Bunk.
My question is how do the people who made the medicine know that eating human liver specifically would not react well with the medicine?
Fun fact: During Clarice's lamb story, you can hear a faint clunk right after she says "I thought if I could save just one", which was a crew member dropping a wrench. Jodie stayed in character enough for the scene to continue, but as soon as it was done, she turned and yelled "What the hell was that?" Jodie Foster is a badass.
Another Fun Fact: The same actor who played Clarice didn't want to come back for Hannibal because Silence of the Lambs was so terrifying for her. So they had to use a different actress.
@@user-fl6wn8rj2d No, she turned it down because she didn't like the story.
@@coolnerdlll6053 This is the truth. Thomas Harris did Clarice wrong in the sequel...especially in the novel.
Yeah
Officially she was occupied with another project, though she did not like the novel when she read it as well
The title's meaning doesn't carry over to the film, but it comes from the end of the book. Rather than a phone call at her graduation, Lector instead writes her a letter asking if the lambs have stopped screaming, and the last line of the book is that Clarice is sleeping peacefully "in the silence of the lambs."
Just because it's not said doesn't mean it was removed. The first time I watched the scene with Clarice's story, I immediately knew "Oh, the 'Silence of the Lambs' is Catherine getting rescued". Lecter does everything but say it.
@@coolnerdlll6053 Lector DOES ask Clarice in the movie if she thinks the lambs will stop screaming if she manages to save the girl in the well.
I got it from only watching the movie
Fun Fact: During the well scene where Buffalo Bill is crying before shouting, "PUT THE F***ING LOTION IN THE BASKET!", those were Ted Levine's real tears. He said before in interviews that he never hated playing Buffalo Bill for the movie, but there were times where he really didn't like it purely because of how cruel he had to be to Brooke Smith (Catherine), even though none of it was real. So when they did that well scene together, Brooke actually improvised the line, "I want my mommy!" and that bit of improvisation caught him so off guard and that was just it for poor Ted. He just burst into tears, and everyone liked it so much that they wanted to keep it in the movie.
I'm glad they did that. Nice way of humanizing such a monstrous character. Give him slight shades of humanity and make us feel gross for feeling bad for him, even just a little bit.
The fact Hannibal never blinks while he's on screen makes me love this movie even more. Hopkins is such a wonderful actor.
6:24 Srry he blinked
Yeah, he blinks
Does it again at 7:26
Not true at all. He blinks several times.
@@casesoutherland4175Oh my bad
Jame Gumb’s name isn’t a mistake. You are right. They canonically did forget to write it out. His parents were so drunk they forgot the ‘s’ on his birth certificate, according to the novel.
I just commented this too!
In the script, it's "Jamie Gumb," which I believe they use the first time the character is introduced by name. ...and they clearly changed it to get us to confuse Gumb with James Gunn (lol).
@@Kattie41in the book the character explicitly says he hates the pronunciation of “Jamie” and insists on the pronunciation “Jame” as in “James” with no “s”
It was nice to comment on that mistake. That caught my attention as well
The best scene, and the dramatic climax, is the one second when Clarice and Hannibal's fingers touch, the consummation of their relationship. That's when they both realize their aspirations-- she realizes her own motivation, and he gets to sincerely help someone as a psychiatrist. Gives me chills.
This movie is FULL of fire quotes "Amputate a man's leg and you can still feel it tickle. Tell me, when your little girl is on the slab, where will it tickle you?" is by far my personal favorite
"Get this thing back to Baltimore" is my favorite line in the movie personally.

Anthony Hopkins does an incredible job making Hannibal one of the creepiest horror icons. His inflections, tone, the way he never blinks, it's really unnerving the first time watching. No wonder Jodie Foster was actually scared of Hopkins during filming.
Honestly, I'd be intimidated by him too.

I will always love this film. My dad passed away in 2016, very unexpectedly. He wasn’t great at taking care of me as a kid because he struggled with an addiction to alcohol. Because of this, whenever I visited for the weekend, he’d kind of let me just a watch whatever. The Silence of the Lambs was the first horror film I ever watched (I was maybe 5 and my dad was passed out). This film gets all the credit for the birth of my love for horror, and it always reminds me of my dad. He had such a kind soul, but addiction ended up taking him away from me and everyone who loved him. I struggled with my own addiction to opiates and heroin for 10 years. I finally got the help I needed and now I can give my daughter the best version of me; clean and sober. I’ll be 4 years clean in July. Sorry this comment got so personal but that’s one of the best things about films in general. The way they evoke certain memories and situations and how those films will forever be tied to them
Congrats! Keep up the good work, be happy 🌈

Very Funny for sure 😅
It's not that far fetched he could climb up to an alcove to shoot from. Remember earlier in the movie where in a training exercise one recruit was mock attacked from behind and reminded to be prepared for attack from all angles.
They train to do that
"Well, Clarice - have the lambs stopped screaming?"
The Lambs weren’t in the movie they were silenced for the entire time
The final line of the book, "....Clarice Starling, sleeping deeply, sweetly, in the silence of the lambs."
That part is so creepy
I liked the way that both Clarice and Hannibal had this sort of respect for each other throughout the film made it very interesting to watch
That’s the whole point of their relationship. Many other agents had been sent in to talk to Hannibal but he went stone cold on each and every one of them. Then walks in Clarice. A fresh faced trainee, who’s still green in almost every way, but also has purpose. She’s not an FBI agent to make headlines, she’s an agent because she’s trying to honor her father. That and her tact and politeness towards the world makes her worthy in Hannibal’s eyes to gain help from him. Plus after being sexually assaulted by Miggs, I’m sure that also was a huge turnaround point for Hannibal as he actually felt sorry for her. She was definitely different from those around her and he knew that.
*”PUT THE FUCKING LOTION IN THE BASSKEET!!“* iconic 😂
🎶it puts the lotion on its skin OR ELSE it gets the HOSE again🎶
The fact that this masterpiece of a movie ends with a fucking *pun* about cannibalism is so campy, in the best way.
When you think about it, it's amazing how campy this movie is... or rather how campy this movie could be. Hannibal Lecter utters so many corny one-liners ("A census taker once tried to test me... Love your suit" and the like), and, shit, the movie concerns one serial killer who pauses in between murders to appreciate classical music, and another who skins women in order to turn himself into one. It sounds like the stuff of godawful lurid schlock, but the writing and tone of both the novel and the movie elevate it. It's really a remarkable achievement, and I still don't altogether understand how they pulled it off.
@@colinbaldwin313you can always get away with corny writing if you’re tone and ambiance take the charge in compensation. Look at Gladiator. Another film considered to be one of the best ever, and even a lot of crew members, including the screenwriter himself, said yeah maybe the writing isn’t the best. But everything else came together to help the film make an impact.
I totally expected Zoran to say "Hello, Janisse" 😂 I'm so thrilled to see a kill count for one of my all time favorites!

Jameothy will be the name of my firstborn child.
One of my favorite overlooked moments is the scene just before Hannibal escapes, and he is drawing a portrait of Clarice holding a lamb.... And then his dinner is brought out to him, and it is lamb, rare.
“Don’t you make me hurt your dog” is so weirdly satisfying to me like seeing her get under Buffalo Bill’s skin is great

I’m hoping we can get a podcast episode on the tv series, cause James has said it’s too big for a kill count.
The original dates were on my birthday and I was sooo excited for them then sad when they got postponed. But I'm excited to get them now, love this collection so much!
Here’s hoping he can do the series one day
Ever since I was little, my dad would go “Hello, Clarice” in a creepy voice. I never knew what he was referencing until last year when we watched Silence of the Lambs together. Crazy that he’s been mimicking a horror movie villain for years without me even knowing
If you never knew about the villain then how would you have possibly known? It's called learning in hindsight. He did that on purpose so when you watched it with him you'd get it.
My brother always says "oh wait... was she a great big fat person?" When talking about friends
Ted Levine not being nominated for Best Supporting Actor was a crime. He’s absolutely incredible.
I never appreciated how great he is until I started watching him on reruns of Monk this past year.
@@kevinkingsland1039 yesss I love him on monk he's a great actor
Anthony Hopkins gets all the praise, and its deserved, but Jodie Fosters 'Clarice' is my favorite part of the film. I know she won an oscar too, but she gives an all-time great performance same as Hopkins. I think her character was equally impactful on film too. She walks that line perfectly of being vulnerable while remaining a strong detective.
I still can’t believe Buffalo Bill played Captain Leland Stottlemayer in Monk. Always blows my mind
I had to double check that and I can’t believe I missed that.
Really!? Oh wow. That would be an interesting case for Monk.
Shows his versatility! He’s also in Memoirs of a Geisha and Shutter Island, he kinda disappears into roles. I love him as Stottlemayer!
Levine was also in Heat, the first Fast and the Furious, the first Joy Ride and more recently in Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, he's such an underrated actor
Funny I justed started binge watching monk on netflix in the UK (which arrived today) I also remembered there was a reference to silence of the lamb in an episode of monk where he wore night vision goggles to catch the murderer just like in silence of the lambs (I think it was the blackout episode) I know there were other references but that one stuck out more
Probably a top 5 movie for me, I watch it once or twice a year. The music, acting, and direction are top tier and made Hannibal a horror icon. If anyone wants to see an early thriller with Anthony Hopkins I suggest checking out 1978's "Magic", a great horror doll movie, he's amazing in it, last I looked it was on Tubi for free too :)
Fuck it all you just had to mention that one!! And notice how much Fats looks just like Anthony, albeit creepy and terrifying.
As good as the acting and story and everything is I've watched the movie a couple times but it never been my kind of movie idk y it just isn't
Top 15 for me. It's a masterpiece, but it's not even my favorite horror movie. That honor will always go to Alien.
It’s number one in my top ten favorite movies of all time, it’s such a masterpiece!!!
Wow TellitAnimated is here .
7:24 - Fun fact on that iconic line; This is actually a medical joke. In the prison, Dr. Lecter was mostly taking Monoamine oxidase inhibitors(Which was used to treat his psychopathic state) What foods are you NOT supposed to take with it Liver - Liver Beans - Fava Beans Wine - Chianti (This was the change the movie made because most people didn't know that Amarone was a wine. So they changed it to a popular wine at the time) He was basically trying to tell the detective "I'm off my meds". Something she didn't pick up on.
Hot take: I think that Buffalo Bill should at least be considered for the Golden Chainsaw. The whole movie is about tracking him down, Clarice Starling finally gets to complete her arc and save the victim, the way it is shot with the night vison and blackout scenes still has me on the edge of my seat, and the way that Bill dies looks almost like a moth, with the goggles representing the eyes and the twitching reminding me of a dying butterfly. Although it's a gun kill, the setup and payoff are great, as well as having a lot of motivation to see this creep get taken down for good. What do y'all think?
This is the first time I noticed Hannibal mentioning "the Beldevere" in Florence during their very first conversation, only for Buffalo Bill's hometown being revealed as Beldevere, Ohio later on! He really was dropping hints left and right!

It makes a lot of sense to go to a country where you stick out like a SORE THUMB in order to escape an evil killer.
I wrote a paper in my college film class about how the movie does an incredible job of literally putting the viewer in Clarice’s shoes. It bonds the viewer to Clairce and makes the idea of the “male gaze” more personal. Amazing film.
This is in my opinion, one of the top three movies of ALL TIME. It won the big five at the oscars, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Picture, and Best Screenplay. Phenomenal work of art with amazingly complex characters and Jodie's portrayal of Clarice is something we will never see again - Clarice Starling is a very complex and relatable character who isn't overpowered, impossibly strong for her size- but rather an intelligent individual who is relentlessly embracing her femininity. Through her pure intentions and authenticity, Jodie's character became a symbol of divine power motivated by pure desires to save weaker individuals in her world. Despite the fact she will never be as physically strong as the men who tower over her, she preservers because she sees saving other innocent lives as a parallel to saving the lambs. The whole point Jodie was trying to make was that in the past, since women didn't have the strength or "heroism" that could compare to men, Hollywood often resorts to crafting lazy, unrealistic female heroines (i.e marvel women) who possess unfathomable qualities and don't come across as relatable at all. Besides this, often the only redeeming quality of women's characters in film is their attractiveness, or their relevance is limited to being as the love interest to their male costars. The Silence of the Lambs changed that when Clarice Starling appeared on screen. The producers took the time to flesh out Jodie's character, Clarice, thereby allowing this talented actress to portray an authentic female role who embodies the characteristics of someone motivated by a well-developed moral compass rather than such trivial, one-dimensional motifs (a relief for audiences). She is then juxtaposed against her male colleagues, almost all of whom are motivated purely by advancement rather than the cause itself.

This whole movie is amazing, but my god, that climactic sequence at Bill's house is TERRIFYING. The way he's trying not to giggle the entire time they're talking, the butterfly picture on the wall, Clarice quietly unfastening her gun holster...it's so damn good. And the night vision scene, jesus. There's a moment in the book during that scene where Bill is admiring how pretty her hair is and thinking to himself that even though she's too petite for him to use her skin, he thinks he'll keep her hair. Easily one of the most terrifying passages in a book ever.

I had a psychiatrist once who gave off serious Hannibal Lecter vibes. Really creepy, yet super polite. Always had a semi smirk on his face with a gleam in his eye. The kind of gleam like he knew something about you he wasn’t supposed to. It’s been over 10 years and I still can’t forget that look. Still makes me shudder
It drives me nuts that 1. People say the quote wrong. It's not 'Hello, Clarice', it's 'Good evening, Clarice'. 2. People insist Anthony Hopkins doesn't blink in the entire movie even though he clearly does. In fact most of the time, his blinks are very precise and methodical.
And nobody knows what the last line is. Everyone thinks it's either "I'm having an old friend for dinner" or "Dr. Lecter?" The actual last line is Chilton talking about the security system as he leaves the plane.
“Hello Clarice” sounds like a jigsaw audiotape 😂

Having the same name as the protagonist of a cult classic, just spelled slightly different, was something that sparked my horror movie interest from a young age. I knew the general idea of the film, but I was not old enough to watch it when the comments on my name first started. And when I finally was old enough, it was one of the first horror films I ever watched. Seeing this film triggered my love of the genre and I am forever grateful for it!!!

Fun facts 1. Jodie Foster claims that during the first meeting between Dr. Hannibal Lecter and Clarice Starling. Sir Anthony Hopkins's mocking of her southern accent was improvised on the spot. Foster's horrified reaction was genuine since she felt personally attacked. She later thanked Hopkins for generating such an honest reaction. 2. After Lecter was moved from Baltimore the plan was to dress him in a yellow or orange jumpsuit. Sir Anthony Hopkins convinced director Jonathan Demme and costume designer Colleen Atwood that the character would seem more clinical and unsettling if he was dressed in pure white. Hopkins has since said he got the idea from his fear of dentists. 3. Gene Hackman bought the rights to the novel. He planned to direct this movie and play either Dr. Hannibal Lecter or Jack Crawford. He withdrew after watching a clip of himself in Mississippi Burning (1988) at The 61st Annual Academy Awards (1989) which made him uneasy about taking more violent roles. 4. After Jodie Foster first read the Thomas Harris novel she tried to buy the rights herself only to find Gene Hackman had beaten her to it. 5. The "death head" marking on the moth is a reference to Edgar Allan Poe's famous short story "The Gold Bug" which also featured an insect with a skull-like pattern on its back. 6. Clarice Starling was chosen by the American Film Institution as the sixth-greatest movie hero out of fifty the highest ranked female on the list. Dr. Hannibal Lecter was chosen as the number one greatest movie villain also out of fifty 7. The pattern on the moth's back in the movie posters is not the natural pattern of the Death's-head hawkmoth. It is in fact Salvador Dalí's "In Voluptas Mors" a picture of seven naked women made to look like a human skull. 8. Like Casablanca (1942) this movie contains a famous misquoted line most people quote Dr. Hannibal Lecter's (Sir Anthony Hopkins') famous "Good evening Clarice" as "Hello, Clarice". This line did however appear in Hannibal (2001) when Dr. Hannibal Lecter and Clarice (Julianne Moore) speak on the phone for the first time, and Lecter says "Hello Clarice". This was possibly put in by the writers of the movie as an inside joke in reference to the misquoting of this movie. 9. Hannibal Lecter (Sir Anthony Hopkins) tells Senator Ruth Martin (Diane Baker) that Buffalo Bill's (Ted Levine) real name is "Louis Friend" an anagram of iron sulfide or fool's gold. In the novel he gives the name "William (Billy) Rubin" a play on bilirubin a pigment found in feces and the color of Dr. Frederick Chilton's (Anthony Heald) hair. Ted Tally's original script had Lecter actually giving that name but it was changed in later revisions. 10. John Hurt, Christopher Lloyd, Dustin Hoffman, Sir Patrick Stewart, Louis Gossett Jr., Robert Duvall, Jack Nicholson, Robert De Niro, Sir Kenneth Branagh, Sir Derek Jacobi, Sir Daniel Day-Lewis, Morgan Freeman, and Sir Sean Connery were all considered for the role of Dr. Hannibal Lecter. Jeremy Irons was asked but turned down the role as he had just played Claus von Bülow in Reversal of Fortune (1990) and didn't want to play another dark character. In a 2016 interview with Empire magazine John Lithgow named Sir Anthony Hopkins' Lecter as one of the great screen villains of all time "even though I was next in line for the role." Lithgow was also considered to play Lecter in Manhunter (1986). 11. This is the only movie where Clarice Starling (Jodie Foster) uses the media nickname that they gave Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Sir Anthony Hopkins). When she is talking with Jack Crawford (Scott Glenn) about who is the subject she is to interview she calls him "Hannibal the Cannibal". Throughout the rest of the movie and in Hannibal (2001) she always refers to him as either "Dr. Lecter" or "Hannibal Lecter" even when she's not speaking to him directly emphasizing the respect she has for him. 12. In an interview John Carpenter declared his disappointment over the movie focusing so much on Clarice Starling's character and that he would have loved to direct this making it "much more frightening and gripping." 13. If you read between the lines during the first part of Jodie Foster's Oscar speech it's clear that she is trying to imply her lesbianism "I'd like to dedicate this award to all of the women who came before me who never had the chances that I've had and the survivors and the pioneers and the outcasts and my blood my tradition. And I'd like to thank all of the people in this industry who have respected my choices and who have not been afraid of the power and the dignity that that entitled me to." 14. Near the end when Jack Crawford is speaking to Clarice from a plane before she enters the killer's house you can see that the three men shown in the scene on the plane are all left-handed. 15. The FBI was very impressed by this movie's accuracy in depicting criminal investigations serial killers and their victims. They especially praised the realism of the scene where Catherine Martin (Brooke Smith) is begging to see her mommy (as psychological stress will often cause victims to revert to their childhood). However they disagreed with Clarice (Jodie Foster) discovering Buffalo Bill (Ted Levine) on her own because inexperienced agents would never be sent out alone on dangerous assignments. When Jonathan Demme explained to them that he couldn't change it because it was the movie's psychological climax they relented saying that it would be the most improbable and rare course of action of all time never to be repeated again. It should be noted though that in the original script Clarice had been suspended from the FBI Academy over the failed deal with Dr. Lecter when she meets Bill she is technically a civilian investigating the case of her own volition. 16. The last shot of the movie the shot that pans up and shows Lecter following Chilton down the Bahamian street is one of the longest continuous takes shot on film clocking in at just under 5 and a half minutes. It's also a rare example of a modern movie showing the entirety of its end credits over images rather than a black screen. 17. Offical Body Count eight however only two deaths occur on-screen the rest are off-screen. 18. George A. Romero makes cameo at around 1h 13 mins the bearded man who accompanies Dr. Frederick Chilton (Anthony Heald) and the two guards who forcibly remove Clarice (Jodie Foster) after her final meeting with Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Sir Anthony Hopkins). In addition Dave Early from Dawn of the Dead (1978) appears as one of the SWAT team. 19. Ted Tally cameo as the FBI tactical team member with the mustache and glasses during the raid near the end of the movie 20. An alternate ending was scripted where Dr. Hannibal Lecter is calling Clarice on the phone, sporting a beard, glasses, lighter hair and having undergone some cosmetic surgery. Before he hangs up he tells Clarice that she looked very lovely in her blue suit today, indicating that he is still around. It is then revealed that he has tied and gagged Dr. Frederick Chilton in his home with a dead security guard lying on the floor. The scene ends with Lecter holding a knife and saying "Well Dr. Chilton shall we begin?" before the camera fades to black. Director Jonathan Demme deemed this ending to be too "icky" and had it changed to the now iconic ending where Dr. Hannibal Lecter follows Dr. Chilton through the village.
I really enjoyed reading/learning this.
@@jasminariel9 thanks
15:25 So happy you included this line it's my favorite in the movie. "Caterpillar into chrysalis...or P U P A." That and of course, "Oh wait...was she a great big fat person?" 24:21
12:35 "She snaps back to reality.." me: "oop there goes gravity!"
Real wasted opportunity to have Zoran say "Hello, Janisse"
The Alice In Chains "Down In a Hole" reference was unexpected, but welcomed.
22:51 thats a very subtle Alice in chains reference and i I love it
Yes! My favorite song as well!
Love that song
Thank you for putting so much effort into making your sponsorships such amazing bits. It is noticed and appreciated! You guys and this channel are amazing
100% 0:56 this is so true
There is a stark difference between wanting a good story and "anti-woke" behavior
if by true you mean not true at all and completely false i would agree
The jokes in this were exquisite, but that "Pembry tastes bland, season him with pepper spray" was (mwah) chef's kiss.
I’m in my mid-30s but had somehow never seen this classic of the genre. Watched it two days ago to be ready for this!!
Better late than never.
I'm genuinely so happy for you!
Studying this in a criminology film class was one of the coolest assignments I ever got to do so I'm very excited for this
Super stoked to see James finally cover this franchise! The Silence of the Lambs is a must-watch for anyone who wants to get into the genre-- I've certainly seen it myself, and it's really cool to see all the behind-the-scenes stuff that I never knew about.
Fun fact: due to this being filmed in Pittsburgh, my pap (who was a city officer) was actually in this movie, and was one of the cops at the elevator scene. He was also in a later scene that included all the officers.
8:23 is by far the funniest thing I've heard and that cut off was phenomenal
I love it when Demme gets recognized for doing Stop Making Sense.
We ran into Anthony Heald at the Shakespear Festival in Ashland, OR back in 2016-17. I can't remeber the exact year. We'd just watched him in a play and the next morning one friend couldn't decide where she wanted to eat, and we saw him walking up the sidewalk. Such a nice guy. He took a picture with one of our friends, talked about his time on stage, and was very pleasant to see fans of his.
Sir Integra Hellsing: "Over the last few years we've had some...expensive claims." Alucard: "Like what?" Integra: "Killing at least a dozen innocent people." Alucard: "Oh, so did Anthony Hopkins and he got a f***ing Oscar for it!"
Is it weird that I see Alucard as besties with Hannibal Lecter?
”I’m not apologizing.”
"Property damage"
@nathankendrick6847 good times
@@Jessidafennecfox not even a little
Watched the movie about a month ago and honestly had a blast, but didn't realize how perfect the film was when you pointed out how well shot the movie was, with Clarice being filmed in a claustrophobic manner. So well job you guys !!
I thought you had missed on one of the biggest lines/memes ever, but 26:18 took away my fears 😂 James not going to risk having ashy skin for the kill count!
8:43 Can't knock the cop for checking the ceiling considering Hannibal put the body in the ceiling of the elevator
"There's something about Miggsy" JAMES NO YOU DID NOT 🤣🤣🤣 This is one of my favourite episodes so far, well done team!
Can we talk about how good the Hannibal Lecter impression was by James at the start of the video
Pretty sure that’s Zoran, but damn he can be creepy as hell
@@thatgirlinautumn5995that’s James at the beginning, but zoran is doing the sponsor
ive been waiting for this video my whole life
I could talk for hours and hours why The Silence of the Lambs is one of the best movies I have ever seen because every aspect of this movie is just a masterpiece.
This (along with Cloverfield and Pan’s Labyrinth) was one of the movies that I had to watch for my Intro to Film class in my first year of University. Because this was in 2020, it was all over Zoom, so we had to watch the movies on our own time. During the class that we were discussing it, one of my classmates changed their Zoom background to be one of the shots of Hannibal standing in the corner of his cell, staring at the camera. It was really creepy, and eventually my professor noticed and had a laugh about it. Whoever did that was a genius, well played sir
You want to se creepy? Take a look at the pic of Anthony Hopkins holding his dummy Fats in the 1978 film Magic
Kasi Lemons is a director; she is called Eve's Bayou. It's labeled as horror, but more Southern Gothic (to me at least, but do I know). You and the team should check it. I don't know if it's kill-count-worthy; only one person dies, but it's definitely podcast worthy.
Eve's Bayou is a interesting Southern Gothic movie just for the family dynamic alone.
I know right? What do you think happened? Who do believe, the daughter or dad? @laocean9677
love coming home from school to go to work then come home on a fine Friday afternoon to see a new dead meat video 🙏🏼
It's been so many years since I've watched Silence of the Lambs, really enjoyed the re-watch and the kill count!
