This piece is for SALE! Send me an email if you're interested 😁
So this piece of English Oak has been outside for a while now... I'm sure you could tell. I was never 100% sure of what I wanted to do with it, but the idea came to mind when I started turning. I didn't want to waste the angled part at the top so decided to make it a feature.
The bread bin has been sanded to 10000 grit and finished with Danish oil and Wood wax.
The main body is English oak, the lid is Sapele, and the handle is African blackwood.
Let me know what you think!
I am now sponsored by Axminster! They haven't paid me to say anything, but in all honesty they do make absolutely fabulous tools and machinery. Head to the link below to shop on their website. www.tagserve.com/clickServlet...

Disclaimer:
My videos are for entertainment purposes only. I am still relatively new to woodturning and some of my techniques might not be the "best" or safest. When using any tools or machinery always read and understand safety/manufacturers guidelines.
Yes, I'm aware that wearing gloves while woodturning is considered an unsafe practise. The gloves I wear are tight fitting and don’t have any loose threads. I wear them for the protection of my skin. This is a risk that I am willing to take, however I am still very conscious of the potential danger and I do not touch any spinning parts of the lathe. DO NOT do anything you don’t feel comfortable doing.

You really are clever with everything you make they are all awesome pieces and you always put a lot of work into them.
