Here’s what may have cost Mayim Bialik her job as Jeopardy!’s host
Mayim Bialik, former Jeopardy! host, faced an unexpected departure from the syndicated version, with Ken Jennings now the sole host for continuity. Speculation arises that Bialik's support for the Writers Strike played a role, as she stepped away last season, causing discontent among executives. Alleged issues include her impact on Jeopardy's precise timing, lack of on-set favor, and disruptions due to her sitcom Call Me Kat. Bialik's reps were informed of contract breach, and despite the chance to continue hosting, she declined. While her future in the franchise remains uncertain, potential returns for Celebrity Jeopardy and college tournaments are mentioned.

Mayim is awesome. The way they made the guest hosts compete was stupid. Mayim won an Emmy for hosting the Prime Time version. I respect her for not crossing picket lines.
Ken Jennings has an awesome syndicated version! Mayim Bialik has an awesome primetime version.
