For Noah's comment on MW3 being good but not having staying power, that's just the state of the gaming industry right now. Games are meant to make a lot of money, not provide constant enjoyment. If it did, you'd be fine with playing the same game for 10+ years without buying a new one if you don't feel you'd like it. Or youd' stick with the old one for a while until you feel like buying the new one much later after launch. The game Devs really want to make fun games that people enjoy and can play for long periods of time, but the studios' upper management only cares about how profitable the companies are. Wanting to make money isn't a bad thing, until the quality of your product starts to drop because of it and you continue to raise the price of your product with the quality loss. Destiny is a prime example of this: Devs beg the management to allow them to build a game to let the players get the old enjoyment they had out of it, but the management is only focused on money

It doesn't have to "hurt", it's just being upfront about what you think of what someone said. Effective communication is a sign of confidence, not weakness. Insulting people in the first place is weak and obviously so. Anyone who knows the psychology behind putting ppl down and intentionally trying to upset them knows they're usually projecting their own insecurities on the other people. Insults NEVER come from a place of confidence, it doesn't work that way. If you disagree with what someone did and you tell them off then that's different, but throwing digs at someone for superficial things they don't control is toxic and weak. Unless you get JOY out of making other people feel bad you should probably think about how your words may effect someone. If you DO get joy out of it then there's a name for that.
