  • Ive got a E46 330 CI Sport Topaz blue Grey leather and bought it in 2004 , and ive still got it and use it with 85 thousand miles on it , just wish Id got the M3 instesd , but its been a reliable car 👍

  • My first car was an E46 02 plate since then I’ve had newer model BMW and 2 brand new ones ( 4 series gran coupe and a 330i ) but always miss the E46 such classic vibes didn’t know how iconic it would be then should have kept it!

  • Bought my E46 M3 cabrio last year and love it! Totally agree about the noise.....addictive! Only issue is they are a bit of a money pit and always manage to get pound notes out of you even when it doesn't need anything 😂

  • Love this! Bought my E46 M3 with 90k for £8k last year - it needed the headgasket doing which is why it was so cheap. I've spent about 4k already on it and let me tell you this - it's never ending! Love it though - by far the best car I've owned!

  • When it comes to diamond cutting be careful not to take too much off the face, they have very think spokes and are prone to cracking… a good way to tell if they have been previously cut is to check the recess for the ‘m’ badge in the middle. Reddish motorsport have a video on this 👍🏽

  • My mate bought a minter for about 6k back in 2016/17 think it only had about 60k on clock and was immaculate and fully loaded remembering it having built in TV as well on the old school I drive thing. They are nice but a bit niche I think, but dated now, prefer the e92 personally.

  • I paid 13k for a e46 m3 black vert with all 3 big jobs done in June , prices have plummeted since then. You can get a coupe for same price now 😭

  • The e46 m3 cabrio is a heavy lump and that blunts the performance, the coupe is better but has become overpriced now. For the same price as an e46 m3 coupe you can get an e92 m3 with the amazing V8. Get the DCT though as the manual has overly long gear ratios. The DCT has shorter gears.

    • The E92 M3 coupe is a much heavier lump than the E46 M3 cabrio. The E46 M3, hardtop or not, is peak BMW.

  • Spending 10K on one of these cars will buy you a massive headache!! I run two 46 M3 cabs, both with under 50K on the clock in immaculate condition inside & out, 53/54 plates, silver grey & phoenix yellow. Stay away from high mileage abused examples, there’s plenty out there!!…. You’ve been warned!!
