They couldn't go full forward with the violence and nudity and the hardcore devil because of the network it was on. Now since Netflix has taken over for new season 4 January, there's no boundaries, which was originally for the series much more intense as so his character should be I agree :)
I was okay with the less nudity. I'm affraid it will ruin the show. There's a lot more important stuff. Sexuality always steals the time to tell more stories

I miss Lucifer! Especially the first 2 seasons. Tom Ellis was great when Lucifer was morally grey! IMHO!
I completely agree. He was so much more fun in the early seasons and the 4th one. They took away so much of his dark, charming, witty edge as the series went on. I think they forgot why so many fell in love with this character to begin with.
