    • We don't know what actually happened in that house that day except the stories his murderers told. Can someone whose life was in danger some minutes before, sit calmly in the livingroom watching TV whilst her "attacker" was being slaughtered in the next room? Also, ask yourself why his beer was drugged, without his knowledge & permission, if not to precipitate a violent reaction from him? And Kathleen did this poisoning/spiking following a 3day alcohol binge with this man? If it was self-defence, the 1st slash at his throat was enough to disable him & call the police. The overkill is a sure sign of pent-up rage that gives a strong indication of malicious intent.

    • @@roseaduke8835 I recon Kathleen drugged him because she knew it would cause him to be violent and something like that would go down and she could have a reason for someone to kill him bc she wanted him dead, that’s how she was just sat all calm like she was

      @cabbage-soup@cabbage-soup2 жыл бұрын
    • @@cabbage-soup personally i think it really makes me furious because it’s not even fully charlotte’s fault, because of course she wants company in her misery. their mother raised them absolutely horribly, and they trauma bonded to one another- charlotte was probably codependent on linda to some extent. both charlotte and linda also just had SUCH a strong trauma bond to their mom that they really didn’t care about themselves, their whole worldview was based around what their mom was telling them in that moment, even as adults. it’s such an insane way to live. like oh my god 😕 katherine was their whole world and she had them wrapped around her finger, and got them both addicted to illegal drugs and got them stuck doing sex work. just pure generational trauma, they even came to her afterwards like “mom what do we do”. because neither charlotte nor linda ever knew what to do; linda so nearly escaped, but charlotte wanted a drinking buddy. and linda loved her sister. and they both had a disease :(

    • I'm not sure how it works in Ireland but in the uk it just doesn't work like that. If you kill someone in self defense it's seen as escalating a situation. People have been given longer prison sentences than their attackers because they used a more powerful weapon. If a man started trying to rape you and you used a baseball bat to defend yourself you would most likely get the longet sentence. Unless you can prove the thing you used wasn't purchased for defending yourself it's seen as assault. If you own a baseball bat and keep it by your door, that's illegal. Whereas if you have a baseball bat in your room that you use in sports, that's not illegal. It's very twisted and fucked up but at the same time it's also there to prevent people from just straight up murdering someone and saying it was self defense.

I personally u can say that those people in power are just as dysfunctional as the inmates they guard and they use power to control and get what they want and also these women were taught young that manipulation gets them what they want. There are so many PREA issues at Montana women's prison. And trust me it is scary to think that there are still Guards there that 100 percent abuse their position and are still at MWP. Just saying.

If someone tried to rape or kill me or a member of my family, I’d like to think I’d take a monster’s life for them or for myself. Obviously, I can’t say for sure if I would as no one knows what they’d do in that situation until they are there. Even so, I think the sentences were harsh for both girl tbh 🤷🏼‍♀️

This is not an excuse for their behaviour because many people have endured terrible childhood/life experiences and have not turned into killers.But I feel as though their upbringing had a major impact upon their moral conduct and actions... • Cee Says But it was a self defense situation. He was about to rape Linda. It was a really gruesome killing but it was still self defense. But considering the history and amount of alcohol and drugs they consumed that day, it was a disaster waiting to happen. I totally agree with you, their mother failed them completely.

    • Jane Doe7x I understand that the event was initially carried out in self defence however when they first slit his throat making him fall over and bang his head, that would have given them enough time to run away from him as he’s dangerous. The beating with the hammer and the second slit to the throat in my opinion was not done in self defence but in a rage of anger. Some people may think he deserved it because he’s a rapist and a woman beater which is also understandable...

  • This case makes me so mad. Its not the saddest, most disturbing one for sure, but man am I pissed. First of all, Kathleen gave him drugs knowing he would be violent. Second, why the heck were the girls drinking with their mom and her abusive bf knowing he is abusive while drunk? Third, girls saved their mother and she turned their back on them. And finally, the brothers turned against their sisters who saved their mom. Kathleen should have taken the fall for them, as they did this to protect them, not cuz they wanted to. Ahhhh so dumb.

    @marija013@marija0133 жыл бұрын

    • You don't die from one second to another like in movies. It needs minutes to hours depending on how one got injured. If you lose much blood you will go into shock first but the actual bleeding process can last for hours until you die. It all depends if the brain gets oxygen or not or also if areas of the brain are injured that are vital. For example if the heart is deadly injured it stops blood from circulating what leads to no oxygen in the brain. (Maybe you know that already?!)

      @MsSonali1980@MsSonali19805 жыл бұрын
    • you can definitely survive that kind of wound as long as you sit and stay calm. If you run around and get your blood pumping quickly you will bleed out but staying very still and trying to put pressure on the wound or even use fingers to block an open artery will drastically help your chances of survival.
