Live action adaptation of Legend of Aang new episode
Most iconic scene, Zuko burns the cabbage in Ba Sing Se. Uncle Iroh sacrificed himself to saves Zuko and fire nation.
#netflix #avatarthelastairbender #sokka
That lady coming out of nowhere and beating the living shit out of Zuko was definetly something we would see in the OG
For all the complaints people have, it's moments like these you can tell they did try to capture the spirit of it
1:10
true true true
they catch it rlly good with the "they are kids in war" they dont wan to hurt each other. aaaand its the first book so
Definitely a rare treat to witness. Never thought I wanted to see that.
The Cabbage Man actor really put his heart and soul into that.
He understood the assignment
Yeah the actor is the same one who voiced him in the original show!
The Cabbage Merchant Actor is the same. He voiced the Cabbage Merchant in the animated series!!
He put heart beacuse those were real burning gabbages and the actor actually grown them up. It was just a coincidence
2:09 Cabbage Merchant: My… my… MY CABBAGES!!!!
“You Have My Notebook!” has the same Energy as “HE RUINED MY DREAM JOURNAL!” from Sharkboy and Lavagirl😂😂😭😭😭
Yo i mentioned that too in another video. Lol Its so funny
I thought the same damn thing, and I don’t know if I hate it or not.
Also the vibes of an older sister realizing her younger brother stole her diary and was reading about her deepest secrets.
For some odd reason I thought of Sharkboy and Lavagirl too! 🤣🤣🤣
1:56
2:11 This guy deserves an Oscar! 🤣
it has dubbed by original dub artist
@@skipper2594Not dubbed he is the original actor
That's James Sie for you!
That lady hitting zuko was the real mvp 😂
Fr tho if it wasn’t for her Aang would’ve been done right there
@@rickyrackx8928 Hey someone had to save him if Katara wasn't around
We need more Jackie Chan type fight scenes from aang🤣 that was so much fun
For some reason I'm picturing that "Yu & Mi" scene from Rush Hour 3 but instead of Chris Tucker it's Sokka
I was thinking about how this fight felt like something out of a Jackie Chan movie with how it was choreographed so humorously
Bro I also felt Jackie Chan choreography in this fight and I need more
Yeah, it was genuinely my favourite fight in the whole Netflix version: great choreography, actually using environment (very Jackie Chan esque and just fun in general), and a real fun comedic moments with the woman and cabbage guy
Steven Chow needs to be the director.
2:11 19 years later and that never gets old.
Holy shit it's been 19 years ?!? 0_o
@@CLP97I was 6 when i watched the show for the first time, I’m 25 now, time be flying😂😂
Mother of God is it really that old? I’m in my mid 20s and now I feel old XD.
It's the same voice actor from 19 years ago too. Wild that they casted the same exact cabbage man
1:10 Zuko got beaten up by a random lady defending Aang 😂😂😂😂
Loved it so much!
Nothing scarier than having an Asian momma coming after you haha
I bet she thinks it is a brother's fight and choose to defend the younger one out of pity, 😂😂
Madam Bo
That was odd actually
I like how they also include hand to hand combat instead of just bending
It's a nice touch
Plus it a good way to save on effects without feeling cheap about it
It’s bc zuko couldn’t expose himself fire bending in omashu
@@joemomma6317really? Didn’t he start the encounter by firebending😂? I haven’t watched the show yet so I don’t know.
@@miggy2696No one was around.
Zuko got beat up by random civilians is funny.
Not any civilian, but by a mother or maybe a mother is ten times funny and scary
@2:11 Cabbage Vendor: MY CABBAGES!!! Jontron: HE'S IN BOYS HE DID IT HE SAID IT (Blows 2 Airhorns)
"DO THE THING CABBAGE MAN!" Cabbage man does the thing. All of us- HE DID THE THING!
Felt like a Jackie Chan fight scene with the whole environment being utilizied.
Except that there are 100.000 cuts, and Jackie does everything from one camera angle. This worse as with Hollywood movies and its kinda puts me off, even though the type of fighting displayed is suitable for the show.
Yeah, I got that too
@@aero1000hey, points for effort.
@@aero1000 You really out here comparing JC fight skills with kids???
“You have my notebook!” I figured he already knew that
The only thing he knew was that it was missing. He didn't know anyone took it.
@@darkenergy9760 I guess I figured he put it together
How should he know he thought he misplaced it
Nobody dare touch Zuko's diary with all the sketches of Avatar fanart! 🤭
He is a big fan of Kyoshi
3 years worth? 😂
The Lady beating up Zuko for attacking Aang a child feel's like something that could have happened in the original series, in fact I'm invisioning it now the animation and the voice talents of Zach Tyler Eisen(Aang) and Dante Basco(Zuko) now
I think the cabbages are the real Victims that didn't deserved this.
1:10 comedy gold here 😂
"Zuko, you son of a bitch!" He ruined this 2:11 man's cabbages.😂
2:10 "Say the line bart"
HE STOLE MY DREAM JOURNAL
I DID NOT! BUMI, SEND HIM TO THE NEWLY REFURBISHED CHAMBER THAT WAS ONCE BAD AND HAVE HIM IMPRISONED!
@@derykjames620You think Avatar Wan stays in the afterlife because he too lives in fear for what's he created
Not Sharkboy and Lavagirl
This fight scene made me think of Kung Fu Panda; where you think it's going to be serious but ends up being unconventionally funny
Pretty sweet they got actors that actually train in martial arts. Zuko’s actor killed it with the signature moves from cartoon 🔥
To the people saying the series doesnt let itself be funny, watch this lmfaooo
And then the rest of it was average if they just would have let it been fun the series would be better
@@davidruelas827bruh you can't just have it be funny constantly and have 0 substance
okay kid@@davidruelas827
@@royshavricktrur that will be like Marvel nowdays
@@davidruelas827you'd have more fun watching it if you took your own advice. 😂
Zuko didnt have a real reason to fight Aang for 3 years. Until he took his notebook.
Don't know what people are crying about. This show was amazing!
They want a 1 to 1 adapation of the cartoon...
Facts
They are close minded morons, and insult people like us for liking this live action series. I'd say this live action series is better i rank it 9/10 than the crappy movie
@@PhilMcIntylerI think it’s more like the changes they made actively make the story WORSE. Plus, it breaks the rule of “Show don’t tell” MULTIPLE times
1:10 I was clapping when that lady was defending Aang
1:10 IM IN TEARS THE WAY THAT WOMAN JUST HIT ZUKO MULTIPLE TIMES IS SENDING MEEEEE
Cabbage man boutta start his villain arc
That lady is the MVP. 😂😂😂
Thsts how mom hit older brother when he bullying the little one 😂😂
Cabbage guy's actor put his heart and soul in that scream
1:10 Zuko, you're lucky she didn't have a sandal or a spoon cause you will not escape from her no matter how hard you try. But Im glad you get to experience a mother's wrath.
😂😂 Asian can related
Even though the woman was hitting him he chose not to hurt her, since well........... He's a momma's boi
2:08 the legendary scene is back!
Ok I can't be the only one who believes that the scarf portion of the fight is supposed to be a subtle reference to the Dancing Dragon in Book 3
Funniest part of this scene tbh
One of the more welcoming change. Love how the fight feels a bit cartoonish too
I actually really like this fight scene
It was a cartoon
The show is an A+ for me. The acting was made to be more “real life” but it still felt like the cartoon though it was more adult themed for sure. So happy the Avatar had finally become live action and being treated the proper way. Can’t wait for the next seasons.
The acting was terrible, what are you on about?
The acting is more cartoon-y than the cartoon
Netflix bot account spotted.
@@XxRaceRCxX sure…what are you some kind of narcissist that you can’t accept people liking something you don’t…the world doesn’t revolve around you and it will continue to go on once you and your opinions no longer exist.
@@emanthescripter1076 It’s my opinion…I know other peoples opinions are very scary…but it’s ok..not everyone thinks like you…but you’re going to be ok….youre going to be ok…I think!
I noticed zuko didn't want to blow his cover as firebender, that's why he's having a combat with aang without using it. But when aang unintentionally reveal that he's the one who had zuko book, anger completely turn over him that he exposed himself without he even realising 😂😂zuko really is a kid 😅😂
Idk hat anyone says one thing this Show gets right is the fight scenes even the subtle or not so subtle humor especially in this fight was on point. I was genuinely laughing out loud bc with this fight especially it was basically ripped from the anime and put into real life 💀 Also like others are saying the woman defending Aang was a nice touch and addition.
They fit in a lot of quirkiness from the show in this fight scene. One of the best scenes done in the live adaption, just because of how it honored the show’s silly fight scenes.
2:11 MY CABBAGE!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
1:10 Busted!
1:17 SCARF DANCE REFERENCE OMG
Fun fact: The cabbage guy is the same guys who voices the cartoon version
This adaptation really is good. It has some weaknesses and changes to the story that I didn't care for; but it's these goofy yet dynamic fight scenes like this that make it feel like the original series.
1:10 How mothers stop their sons from hitting their younger brothers
Genuinely one of the best scenes.
This fight is the most Avatar ass fight I’ve ever seen
Bro really nailed the iconic MY "CABBAGES" line
Apparently he’s the actual voice actor from back then 😃
I love that they actually hired the original voice actor to play him in live action, too.
Best casting decision in the whole show. 😂
I don't see Aang's signature fighting style where he always manuever behind the enemy to avoid & misdirect their attacks.
The cabbage merchant had his good destroyed in various ways, but I don’t think the cartoon ever straight up incinerated them.
That lady with the fan is the main character. Kyoshi would have been proud.
I love the little detail of Aang putting out the fire. That was very in character for him.
I hope everyone knows the cabbage mans son or grandson later resented benders and later supported equalists and later was forced to close cabbage corp for good
he was framed
@@holmesholmes.8784 oh yeah lol but idk lol still suspicious😭😭😭😭
This will be enjoyable for people who never watched the OG cartoon.. For those of us who did see the original.. we are not impressed- And saying “it’s better than the movie” means nothing
Ofcourse y'all atla fans will never be satisfied cause y'all want a copy from anime😂
@@dubiushegrid-cr2ji ok but are you impressed? You shouldn’t be, and that’s all I said. It looks like a good show, just not close enough to the og for me
@@chrisray7682it’s never going to be as good or better than the original and they can’t just copy everything and I like the show and i was impressed it did have some flaws but overall it was good 9/10
Zuko could have knocked out Aang and captured him if that lady didn't step in. She's the real MVP of the entire series
Aang fighting style reminds me of Jackie Chan
This scene was so amazing. I really want to rewatch this show again. I saw it the day it came out.
I need a season two if nothing else to see toph brought to life
How many years must the cabbage man suffer? 😩
This scene is gold
2:08 Cabbage guy can't catch a break 😅
Best fight in the series, very Jackie Chan like
😲😲😲Damn that lady had balls. I mean fierce balls to the point where you literally try to fight someone who pretty much has more power over you. I don't mean by the fact that zuko is a prince but also because he's a pretty skilled firebender. Now if anybody is normally the victim of shenanigans to team Avatar in a specially well any bad guy they come against is the cabbage merchant 🤣🤣🤣
This scene was amazing.
Iroh makes himself look like an Al Quaeda bomber just to save Zuko.
And that's how roasted cabbages were created 🔥
The fight between Aang and Zuko reminds me of those fights in Jackie Chan's movies.
That's because they use objects within reach to fight.
this was really good. loved it.
I love they included the cabbages scene 😂
While mostly I think this show is trash, this is mostly a solid fight and pretty damn hilarious. It even shows a some hints at the good within Zuko. If an old lady interrupted Azula during a fight to whack her with a stick, that old lady would be turned into a pile of ash on the ground. Zuko meanwhile is so surprised and so averse to hurting someone who compared to him is completely helpless that he is almost running away lol.
There are no more cabbages in Ba Sing Se.
My cabbages 😅😅😅
This Zuko actor is spot on down to the grunts
Sokka: This guy? Again? Aang: Go. Get to the palace. Stop Sai. This is my fight. (Katara and Sokka head to the palace to stop Jet from setting off the bomb) (Zuko prepares to fight Aang) Iroh: Keep your firebending in check, or you’ll have the entire Earth Kingdom army to deal with. Zuko: I don’t need firebending to defeat this kid.
1:53 aang got shocked when zuko find out he took his notebook
"My beautiful caulis !" 😅
Who got a Jacky Chan Movie vibe from this? Especially one scene of ‚the legend‘
Me, and I loved it XD
This is actually real well done. The wirework and goofy use of props really reminds of me of some jackie chan stuff
I like how Aang knows that Zuko had been hunting him for three years. He knows how obsessed he is but doesn't understand why. I'd say that foreshadows them becoming friends and Zuko joining Team Avatar.
The power disparity is just so off in these fights. On one hand, Aang spends 2 -3 seconds hovering some plates because apparently he can't use air by itself to blow away zuko, but apparently can just do a quick puff of air from his mouth and launch himself from the ground several feet. They lack any form of consistency and makes it feel like Aang isn't a master airbender.
2:10. He said it! He said the thing!!
Just a thought, Donnie Yen as Master Piando
Firebenders bending fires out of their ass instead of needing a nearby fire for source is the best thing about this Netflix version.
The fighting scenes are impressive
It really has the vibes of the animated series
Aang really shouldve wiped the floor with Zuko seeing as he wasn't able to use firebending at the time
Aang is still only 12 and knows next to squat about the other elements. Besides, he doesn't want to hurt Zuko.
Using surroundings and little tricks , already makes a fight scene 1000times better
Best adaptation of Avatar we ever see❤❤❤❤
Only adaptation? 😅
@@aleciapeartthe movie
Great scene.. I ALMOST saw a bit of the fight amidst the ten thousand editing cuts.
I was not a fan of this adaptation as a whole but there are a few moments (not scenes, moments) that feel like the OG show. But that just kinda makes me wanna watch the OG show 😂 All the same gg to the actors, they went all out!
2:37 “He’s making fire out of nothing!!” - some fire nation soldier
The waaaattt when he says save yourself😂
Im glad the netflix adaptation is good
