for sure, and by his biological type of body and metabolism I'm pretty sure he got struggles with it but this is what brilliant actors do: give themselves 100%, body and mind, for the roles

I never doubted Robert personally. It’s just like Heath… everyone is quick to open their mouths before acting seeing what they’re receiving.
@@johnxiong6983 well two things in reality he doesn't start getting pretty big until later in his career. It could be in response to am not that young therefore am not quite as fast, so I have to make sure when I hit them they go down with one or two punches. In reality though Batman should never be shaped like a body builder ever. I always imagined Batman physically looking body wise like a three way split between Bruce Lee, Usain Bolt and Muhammad Ali

When Zoe got scared by batman punching a guy I lost my shit 🔥.. now I'm waiting for The Batman.
He's acting very much how he criticizes with Damiens behavior; furious, violent and relentlessly bloodthirsty. Not even Keatons Batman was this aggressive and he had quite the body count under him. This is the kind of Batman an older Bruce would reflect on and advise his proteges and allies to never get close to reaching.
@@Andrew___P and that’s what’s so great about this film. I like Nolan’s trilogy but this has a much more realistic take on a young batman, he would be angry, aggressive, ruthless. In batman begins its more leaning on the older batman. More calm, less aggressive, not as ruthless. And I honestly like pattison’s batman more just because of this.
The action of this film is to surprising the most badass of all time.

Check out Afllecks Batman warehouse fight scene in Batman Vs superman. Its the best thing about that movie and needs to be matched if not bettered by Pattinsons Batman.

This is the most PISSED OFF Batman I think I’ve ever seen!!! You can feel how his overwhelming rage is. The look Selina gave to Batman when he is pummeling that guy, he looks like he will ground and pound you until there is literally nothing left but a red smear. I asked for a movie that looks like The Dark Knight meets Se7en and I got it. 🔥🔥🔥
Just be cautious....a lot of trailer's atmosphere can be very different from the final product.

They were just saying that this movie looks even darker than any on-screen Batman we've gotten, they weren't saying Batman wasn't dark, hence why they brought up how dark the Nolan movies were.

Nolan’s films were more of a commentary on society and how it shapes Bruce/Batman and then how Bruce/Batman’s impact shapes society but this movie will be more personal and it will explore the psyche of Bruce/Batman and how he’s torn between upholding his one rule and falling to the darkness and he will be shaped by the people around him and revelations about Gotham which may be tied to him

This goes way back to the comics. Year One Dark Knight. He's enraged, unhinged, barely keeping it together. This is NOT a nice Batman, and I love it. (edit- lots of people pointed out that this is based on DC Year Two, and they're correct. I still see a huge Year One vibe, but I do stand humbly corrected).

i like how we are getting a Year one setting/tone (pre-Joker/most Rogues Gallery, corruption, angry bruce, reckless bruce, and his costume/tactics are rougher (charging right at enemies)) while skipping over the typicval origin stuff (training, alleyway, etc)

Achara nails something here... when she talks about the movie being *The* Batman. Ever play Dragon Age: Inquisition? The Iron Bull goes into why he puts the article in front of his name - why he is THE Iron Bull. It's to make him out as less a person, and more a weapon - an instrument of destruction. That's what Batman is in this movie - a blunt instrument of destruction - at least from what we've seen.

They could go even darker than this if they wanted to stay true to the comics. Often, it's the ugliest side of man he delves into--pedophiles, rapists, serial killers--that don't involve super villains or explosions. The Black and White comic series showcased those types of cases. A film about real world crime--just one case--and featuring batman as the world's greatest detective, that is a batman movie i am waiting to see made.

That seething, uncontrollable rage and punch during "what have you done" is sooo good. I hate having Batman play by all the rules Nolan set forth when Batman should be going around them. IMO anyways.
Trust me man I cried for joy and pumped full of addrenaline, 4hrs of wait and it was worth it. Can't wait to watch it next year!

The key to this movie will come from the performances of Robert Pattinson and Paul Dano. This is Batman vs. Riddler. Catwoman looks like a lover and ally. Penguin seems like a side character like Two-Face in TDK.
