It is a part of sinning openly when a man does something at night, then the following morning when Allaah has concealed his sin, he says, ‘O So and so, I did such and such last night,’ when all night his Lord has concealed him and the next morning he uncovers what Allaah had concealed.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5721; Muslim, 2990).

Beautiful look! But a bit of sincere advice, I know you're not asking for any but I think this is necessary. The problem is not YOU showing your hair or wearing the hijab in a way that is not in accordance with Quran and Sunnah. That is between you and your relationship with Allah. It's not my business. The problem is that soooooo many young girls are following you and taking inspiration from the way you dress. It's so sad because the youth that I work with don't even deny it. They used to wear the hijab correctly (in accordance to Quran and Sunnah) and now they wear it like you do. They no longer wear abaya, they show more hair and now it's all about looks and fashion and looking attractive. The true essence of hijab is lost. I speak to them and they even mention that they take "hijabi" fashion inspiration from you. My dear sister, you may not realise but you're dragging all these girls with you in a path which Allah is not pleased with. I know you say you're not a role model. But by showing girls how to look/style, you automatically become inspiration. The reason why I say this on these comments and not privately is because this isn't just for you, it's for those who follow you as well. Allah commanded the hijab upon us for a reason. One of those reasons is to free ourselves from the low self-esteem we get from the make-up/fashion industry. So that we are honoured as women, not as objects. Pleaseee don't take offence by this. I know I'll probably get a lot of hate for this comment. But I don't care, I care more about the Muslim youth and their condition xxxxxx

Shplout Who told you to care about Muslim youth? The problem with Muslims in our times is that they care about the imaan of every stranger instead of focusing on themselves. Who are you to educate young women on how to dress if they are above 18? Are you their parent? If not, it's none of your business. If tomorrow a terrorist commits a horrible act while claiming to be inspired by a Muslim scholar will you blame the scholar for it? You won't do that even if the act is so severe and reprehensible yet you believe Dina should take responsibility for how random women choose to dress as if there is any shortage of pop culture in the western world for them to seek inspiration from. Dina has managed to humanize Muslims in the western world and that is done most Muslims despite being more visibly Muslim have utterly failed to achieve because of their narrow and pedantic mindset. If Muslims like you can't tolerate how a woman chooses to wear her headscarf then don't complain when you're called out on your intolerance.
