"Under A Rock In Tuscany" is a rare short film portrait of the iconic artist Sting, presented by CDLP. Shot at his Tuscan home against a backdrop of hazy summer and the acoustics of nature, CDLP co-founder and filmmaker Christian Larson chronicles Sting's perspective on creativity, masculinity, and love. Sting is the latest installment in the CDLP journal. Previous spotlights include Rio de Janeiro’s La Suite hotelier François-Xavier Dussol, Swedish film directors Johan Renck and Jonas Åkerlund, and renowned artist Tom of Finland.

I agree Gordon Sumner , alias Sting, whom I appreciate much and love his music, is somehow sad because he lacks a true relationship within himself with the One who is more intimate to him than himself and can fulfill all his needs! Then he would irradiate the real light of his soul . God bless and help us all.

I think that some of his music will last as long as Beatles, Rolling Stones, Beethoven and Bach Compositions. The fact that he was part of Amnesty international ( and/or still is ? ) alone, makes him a Person that deals Life far beyond Music alone.

In few decades, most probably after 2060, richest people would live alone in this planet. When I see what Sting does, the way he lives, the things he says I think that anybody is meant to be like that....without stress, happy, living a life, struggling with his own search of a meaningfullife......But by contrast people are dying in wars, or starving, or having a heart attack due to a stressed life full of resposabilities......Modernity is clearly over....capitalism is over too....and now comes the rise of longevity and loneliness........the endless emptyness in empty cities with no life, no polution, no activity......just people, few people that are going to trascend the rest, just because they have money......or most probably because of that........The rest of the mortals will die contemplating how the Modernity vanishes in front of their eyes.....The very system that took us here is now collapsing........Sting is one of these persons who dont know what fear is......at least not the one that kills you.....Sting will live many lifes. He already was there in 1978, but he will be there in 2060 for sure............this is overwhalming, this is a nightmare sometimes......Godbless everyone....
Don't pity the Elite. They want the planet to themselves.Interestingly enough, Sting probably won't be one of the "chosen ones" . he serves no purpose.
@@thewomble1509 He is a "chosen one" already, right from his birth. I think the term "elite" does not capture what these future citizens are going to be, or what they are now. In any case the future is very uncertain, very intriguing. Sting does know certain things himself, many things that most of the mortals ignore. We have to point out here that these so called "elites" are mostly Anglosaxons (wherever they live), some of them Asiatics, some of them Mediterraneans..and then few minorities..but the rest, the huge rest of the world is out of the picture. They simply don´t matter.....

@@thewomble1509 No longer relevant? Oh please. He hasn't been "mainstream pop" in 35 years, but he has been and always will be relevant. Like Paul Simon and Neil Young, he's a song writer. They tell the stories of our lives no matter how old they/we are. And as far the "muse", every artist struggles with their next master piece once they have set the bar so very, very high.
like all the English who have come to Tuscany since ancient times even sting lives tuscany like an eden where to spend some time but with the snobbery and detachment typical of the British. does not speak a word of Italian (if you like a place at least a little you learn its language do not use only what gives you the land) a friend of mine, a gardener, who worked for him. he told me that he paid for it on the basis of the seedlings he planted, not on the basis of his working hours. great artist but questionable person his very nice wife. but he lives in his own shadow.
