    • @@SirDudester44 Hatton should have waited and developed his skills as an amateur before turning pro. His early move to the professional level may hinder his success in boxing. Personally, Hatton will just be known as a journeyman. If Hatton does not make major improvements soon. Andy Cruz, who turned pro at 27, has already achieved a gold medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Both Cruz and Keshawn Davis have far more experience than Hatton based on their amateur backgrounds.

  • He's lost before but got the decision. That shouldn't have happened. We all knew his level. It's hard being compared to your father. He fought his best and came up short no shame in it. Flints timing was excellent.

    @robf81@robf81Ай бұрын
  • I said it before and I'll say it again. I really like Campbell as a person however his style is nothing more than British level. He isn't fast, he doesn't have crazy power, he doesn't have the movement, and his defence is wide open. Until he dramatically changes tactically he is going to struggle getting past this level. And now with this exposed other fighters can replicate and capitalise on his weaknesses. I do really wish the lad well as he is a good guy and is likeable , he is humble and not arrogant. He is just unfortunate with the name he is linked with and limited ability he has.

    • @Disinfo321 nah no disrespect. He has heart but he doesn't have the ability. P4p he isn't going world level anytime soon. He hasnt progressed that much skill wise and needs an insane dramatic change to get anywhere near the level you are talking about.

    • @Disinfo321 no way. Crawford is extremely technically good. Even mayweather has difficulty in sparring against him. If you think Hatton has a chance against Crawford then you are dreaming. He is the best welterweight right now. Not even a year Hatton can get near his level I'm sorry that's delusional and this is coming from a person who has boxed for half my lifetime as well as martial arts and plans to go pro in the summer and be in the lightweight and welterweight division which Campbell is in. He has heart and balls but technically nowhere near good enough to get past British level yet alone you talking world level.

He's not even ready for upper novice or low tier journeymen. They say "he's young", but there's so many fighters younger than him, that would beat Campbell easily enough. His best bet to hopefully improve is finding a new trainer to see if that makes any difference. Although just hearing Campbell speak could be an incentive to hang up the gloves permanently. Most importantly, the right man won, especially since he was fighting someone with the last name Hatton, who has already been gifted a victory.

  • If Campbell is serious about doing something in boxing then he needs a new trainer because his uncle is clearly not putting him through the proper paces in training and he hasn't learnt much since he turned pro. Shane mcguigan would be a good pick and come back in 6 months and lets see if there's improvements
