Im just a christian guy from s.korea and yeah Didnt watch the movie yet but just the lyric that ' God only knows what you been through' makes me cry. I ve been through sooo many thing for past 3 year. My family got financial bankruptsy, i got the IBD , my parents got car accident for three times in 2years. I got some surgery for two times. I never left God was rasied in christian family. Couldnt believe that all of those things happneed to me and my family. So i hated God . And mocked God prayed God to just kill me or let some one stab me with knife or shoot me in street. Long story but i realized that im just nothing before God. I even cant breath well and go out in peace without his allowance. Just our God is majesty. So just the thankful mind remains. And i started to pray one hour everyday. Somehow things are getting better and better to me and my family. Hope my english wasnt bad to understand and For those who are in the difficult situation that makes you think that even God doesnt know.. God knows you and your situatuon!. Just dont leave God. It makes your situation worse.

Amen. You become what you behold and will expose what you have been exposed to. Why do I say this? Moses, after speaking face to face with God and coming down from that mountain, his face shone so much that they had to cover his face with a mantle. Many times we want to show people the power, the greatness and the presence of God, and show them that God is a God willing to have a relationship with each all of us. And we look for many ways to do it, but if there is something that Moses teaches us, is the only way to do it is contemplating the Glory of God so that it becomes palpable in you and others see it through you. But like Moses, to contemplate the glory of God you must go through the desert but without stop trusting in God, without stop praying and praise him, because it is necessary not only to leave Egypt, but also for Egypt to come out of you, so that When the time comes, contemplate the Glory of God and be palpable in you. May God continue to glorify himself in your life and use you in a special way. God bless you.

First time I heard awesome God was at a rave. I was high as hell on ecstasy. I didn't pay attention to the words but the melody spoke to me. The second time I heard this song was at a year long rehab called center of hope. My dad was sitting next to me.. I fell into tears because I knew I heard the melody before and at that point I knew God had been with me every day during my addiction. He was with me at that rave. The third time I heard this song being sung live was today at church and it was this version.. This song is very special to me. They both are actually. Just know that whatever you are going through. Even if you you want to block out his words and his voice you will never be able to block out his melody. He will be with you in that jail cell. He will sit next to you with the needle in your arm. He will be with you when you are beat down and broken. And he will sing to you.

For a long time I believed that god disliked me because I went through a lot when I was younger and it was a lot to handle. Between my freshman and sophomore year I got the chance to go to an amazing church camp. At the tile I was very quite and closed people out a lot for things I’ve been through. One night that was like the bonfire they had in this scene where you sing all the songs, have s’mores, and pray. The councilors told people if they felt like praying for someone to for it and one of the people who ran the camp came up to me and asked me if she could pray for me. I was confused at first because she barley knew me and no one at that camp knew what I’ve been through. We went into our corner and she prayed for me she said “I see a bird stuck in a cage. Outside the cage all that bird saw was pain and fear. Only certain people had the key to that cage but god only wished that the bird will allow itself to fly when the cage is left open no matter what that bird has been through, no matter who hurt that bird, no matter what the fears that bird has but to fly straight into the sun and fight for the life it deserves. Because that bird that bird deserved to fly” ever since then it kept god very close to my heart and what that lady said to me and I could never regret it.

This summer when I was at DTI (a Christian youth summer camp type thing) we were praying and my youth leader said that God was showing her a rose that saw itself cut up and broken but He saw it restored and beautiful. My youth leader didn't know this but I had self harmed in the past and truly believed I was broken and unlovable if anyone saw the "real me" but hearing He saw me differently, even knowing my mistakes, my thoughts and how twisted I felt, and still loved me was so hard to accept but definitely something I needed to hear. I'm still struggling but I'm doing a lot better now and I'm so grateful for his unconditional love even at my worst.

Recently I've had a lot bad luck. My Dad who is as awesome man, my hero actually had a severe stroke my mom who has dementia is a real lady who has a beautiful spirit. I care for them and this has made me question my faith. Why would God do this to two such beautiful people but God really is awesome and I know he'll always be with them.

God knows what he does. What you go through now will serve as a testimony to others that no matter what happens God is there. For him nothing is impossible. He can heal them? Of course he can. But God knows why you have that problem or situation. You said that this make you question your faith, but now I tell you ... There are times that He will simply test our faith, that if you keep your faith no matter how strong the problem is or not depends on you. But of one thing I am sure, God does not give us problems that we cannot carry. Because tell me you. Who knows everything that a person can or can't do? Who decided what is capable of doing and what is not? If I'm not mistaken, the one who does it is God, and he does it for a purpose. Perhaps now you do not see the end of the problem, but if you keep your faith until the end, be sure that because of that many will see in you a good example of what a Christian is. It is necessary for God to pass us through the fire, since God said that in the midst of the problem, the pain or the situation, it is when / where He Glorifies Himself, but it is up to you if you do the will of Him. Jesus said that in front of us there are two paths, one of life and one of death, one of the things that are RIGHT ACCORDING to GOD and the other of the things that are INCORRECT ACCORDING TO GOD and He not simply said that we choose one of those paths, He recommended us to choose the path of life because He loves us. He love you!! The enemy wants to make you doubt? Of course, but on the other side remember that God tells you to keep your faith because on earth everything is temporary, but for those who keep their Faith, great is the reward in heaven.🙏🏾God Bless you💯

I'm not religious, I haven't always been a believer but this song hit me when I watched the movie. I don't know what it was about it but it's sort of like I got a reality check to try and get into knowing about god and how to believe. It's always been difficult because no one in my family is religious or a believer of god, so I never really knew how to continue a belief in him. I suppose lately I keep having this feeling in the back of my mind telling me to believe. I just don't know how to stick with it and how to not make it weird around my family (who are non believers) and I can't see them believing either

I love the story this mashup paints. You see the comfort start to set in with awesome God and then you see the deep raw emotions hit with God only knows and then you see the response back with awesome God because life brings us deep raw emotion but with God we can get through those deep and sometimes raw hard times knowing that he is an awesome God.
Im just a christian guy from s.korea and yeah Didnt watch the movie yet but just the lyric that ' God only knows what you been through' makes me cry. I ve been through sooo many thing for past 3 year. My family got financial bankruptsy, i got the IBD , my parents got car accident for three times in 2years. I got some surgery for two times. I never left God was rasied in christian family. Couldnt believe that all of those things happneed to me and my family. So i hated God . And mocked God prayed God to just kill me or let some one stab me with knife or shoot me in street. Long story but i realized that im just nothing before God. I even cant breath well and go out in peace without his allowance. Just our God is majesty. So just the thankful mind remains. And i started to pray one hour everyday. Somehow things are getting better and better to me and my family. Hope my english wasnt bad to understand and For those who are in the difficult situation that makes you think that even God doesnt know.. God knows you and your situatuon!. Just dont leave God. It makes your situation worse.

First time I heard awesome God was at a rave. I was high as hell on ecstasy. I didn't pay attention to the words but the melody spoke to me. The second time I heard this song was at a year long rehab called center of hope. My dad was sitting next to me.. I fell into tears because I knew I heard the melody before and at that point I knew God had been with me every day during my addiction. He was with me at that rave. The third time I heard this song being sung live was today at church and it was this version.. This song is very special to me. They both are actually. Just know that whatever you are going through. Even if you you want to block out his words and his voice you will never be able to block out his melody. He will be with you in that jail cell. He will sit next to you with the needle in your arm. He will be with you when you are beat down and broken. And he will sing to you.

For a long time I believed that god disliked me because I went through a lot when I was younger and it was a lot to handle. Between my freshman and sophomore year I got the chance to go to an amazing church camp. At the tile I was very quite and closed people out a lot for things I’ve been through. One night that was like the bonfire they had in this scene where you sing all the songs, have s’mores, and pray. The councilors told people if they felt like praying for someone to for it and one of the people who ran the camp came up to me and asked me if she could pray for me. I was confused at first because she barley knew me and no one at that camp knew what I’ve been through. We went into our corner and she prayed for me she said “I see a bird stuck in a cage. Outside the cage all that bird saw was pain and fear. Only certain people had the key to that cage but god only wished that the bird will allow itself to fly when the cage is left open no matter what that bird has been through, no matter who hurt that bird, no matter what the fears that bird has but to fly straight into the sun and fight for the life it deserves. Because that bird that bird deserved to fly” ever since then it kept god very close to my heart and what that lady said to me and I could never regret it.

This summer when I was at DTI (a Christian youth summer camp type thing) we were praying and my youth leader said that God was showing her a rose that saw itself cut up and broken but He saw it restored and beautiful. My youth leader didn't know this but I had self harmed in the past and truly believed I was broken and unlovable if anyone saw the "real me" but hearing He saw me differently, even knowing my mistakes, my thoughts and how twisted I felt, and still loved me was so hard to accept but definitely something I needed to hear. I'm still struggling but I'm doing a lot better now and I'm so grateful for his unconditional love even at my worst.
God only knows. I urge you brothers and sisters to try and see others as God sees them. People whose very existence would grate on me are now some of the most beautiful people seeing them through God.
This coming from a girl raised in a Christian home there are times you'll doubt God because of how bad thing will go but it's a test and we just have to pass that test and have faith and trust to receive our reward ❤.

Recently I've had a lot bad luck. My Dad who is as awesome man, my hero actually had a severe stroke my mom who has dementia is a real lady who has a beautiful spirit. I care for them and this has made me question my faith. Why would God do this to two such beautiful people but God really is awesome and I know he'll always be with them.
God knows what he does. What you go through now will serve as a testimony to others that no matter what happens God is there. For him nothing is impossible. He can heal them? Of course he can. But God knows why you have that problem or situation. You said that this make you question your faith, but now I tell you ... There are times that He will simply test our faith, that if you keep your faith no matter how strong the problem is or not depends on you. But of one thing I am sure, God does not give us problems that we cannot carry. Because tell me you. Who knows everything that a person can or can't do? Who decided what is capable of doing and what is not? If I'm not mistaken, the one who does it is God, and he does it for a purpose. Perhaps now you do not see the end of the problem, but if you keep your faith until the end, be sure that because of that many will see in you a good example of what a Christian is. It is necessary for God to pass us through the fire, since God said that in the midst of the problem, the pain or the situation, it is when / where He Glorifies Himself, but it is up to you if you do the will of Him. Jesus said that in front of us there are two paths, one of life and one of death, one of the things that are RIGHT ACCORDING to GOD and the other of the things that are INCORRECT ACCORDING TO GOD and He not simply said that we choose one of those paths, He recommended us to choose the path of life because He loves us. He love you!! The enemy wants to make you doubt? I don't know what it was about it but it's sort of like I got a reality check to try and get into knowing about god and how to believe. It's always been difficult because no one in my family is religious or a believer of god, so I never really knew how to continue a belief in him. I suppose lately I keep having this feeling in the back of my mind telling me to believe. I just don't know how to stick with it and how to not make it weird around my family (who are non believers) and I can't see them believing either
Embrace God, if your family doesn’t like it, do it more, because God really is awesome and they need to know about Him. Believe in Him and tell everyone about Him. Read the Bible, it’s God’s word to you. Believe and accept that Jesus died for you and repent of your sins, it’s the greatest gift in the whole entire universe. God loves you, and He never stops thinking about you. ❤️🕊
